*STATUS QUO

Thousands of years ago in Ancient China, at the there lived a beautiful young woman named

Fa Mulan. She lived with her parents and her dog. Mulans father was retired as general or

known to be as a great warrior. He was sick and weak, he was too old to fight and he had

been injured during the battle. As Mulan the only child in the family she felt the responsible

for upholding the family honor. So his father taught her how to ride a horse and use a

sword. After rushing through her morning chores, she meets her mother and grandmother

in town to dressed up before joining the other ladies at the matchmakers house where

there are many young ladies like Mulan. Her grandmother insists her to bring a cricket with

her for good luck. But then the cricket escapes from its cage and wreak everything during

her meeting. Mulan was entitled as disgrace , and told her she would never bring honor to

her family.

1. CALL TO ADVENTURE

After what happen at the matchmakers house. Mulan resturns home deeply ashamed

thinking about that she is not the daughter that per parents truly deserve. But then Mulans

father comforts her and suggest that the cherry blossom late to bloom will be the most

beautiful of all which he can relate it to Mulan. Then the Emperors smug councilman

named Chi Fu arrives at Mulans village that they need one man from each family for the

imperial army. Mulan noticed many of the young men are too afraid to join , and she was

expecting that her father would be picked since he is the only man in the family. Mulan

plead the councilman for his father cant fight and has a injured leg. But after Mulans plead,
her father was disappointed. It was a stormy night , knowing Mulans aging father had to

fight again. She made a big decision that she will be the one to replace his fathers place.

After her parents are asleep, she sneaks to her fathers room, and find a short sword which

she used to cut her hair short and open up a cabinet where her fathers armor. Now she

dressed as a young man, goes to the horse stable and ride onto her fathers horse named

Khan and went to the Imperial Army in her fathers place.

2. ASISTANCE

At the small temple of the Fas property where Mulans ancestors come to life to deliberate

over what to do with Mulan. Then Mushu , a former guardian (dragon) was demoted as a

gong-ringer to awaken the Great Stone Dragon to bring Mulan home safely. While Mushu

grumpily trying to wake the statue he accidentally break the statue into tiny pieces. He also

met Cri-Kee the lucky cricket that Mulan brought during the Matchmakers House. And both

of them decided to go after Mulan themselves since the Great Stone Dragon was destroyed.

They followed her at the Imperial Armys Camp where Mulan is there. Where Mushu helps

her during her training.

3.DEPARTURE

Mulan arrived at the Imperial Armys training camp, where she met Captain Li Shang where

he asked whats Mulans name. She answered that her name was Ping which many of the

soldiers believed that she was a man. She feel uncomfortable at the camp expecting there

would be quite a lot of training , just to be prepared for the battle they will had. Shang

worked hard to teach his soldiers (including Mulan)strength and discipline. Mulan

struggles to keep up, she feel frustrated and Shang told her to go home if she cant keep up.
4. TRIALS

Mushu supports Mulan as she struggles through training, which many of the soldiers where

mad at her for the camp-wide fight on their first day which she fails. Shang presents

difficult and impossible task for the soldiers: to climb a huge wooden pole while wearing a

heavy arm weights to retrieve an arrow from the top of the pole. After few trainings happen

Mulan finally redeems herself cleverly using the arm weights to her advantage and scaling

the pole and reach the arrow. Which many of the soldiers begin to warm up with her and

makes her difficult to hide her identity. Now Shang assumes that his soldiers are ready to

battle the other group at the mountains surrounded by thousands of Huns lead by the

leader named Shan-Yu

5. APPROACH

Mushu plans to make Mulan into a war hero by making a fake letter to Shan that is from

General Li , requesting a back-up troops at the mountain pass. Heeding the letters

message, Shan Yu plans to move his army through a mountain pass and he confidently leads

the Huns to battle the imperial troops. As Mulan , Shang and the troops progress the snowy

mountains, Mushu accidentally set off a cannon and give away their position. The Huns

immediately attack and greatly outnumber the soldiers. Shang instructs the other soldier to

aim their last cannon at Shan Yu (the leader of the Huns) , Quick-thinking Mulan has an

idea. She swipes the cannon and fired at the mountainside , causing a huge avalanche that

buried the Huns. Thanks to Mulan many of the soldiers run for safety , but Mulan receives

an injury and gets her to medical attention that she stustained from Shan Yus sword. Mulan

can no longer hide her identity and many of the troops were shocked knowing she was a
women this whole time. While angry at Mulan , Shang was about to execute Mulan but he

refuses to kill her and leaves her in the mountain with her horse.

6. CRISIS

Mulan miserably tells Mushu that entering the army was a huge mistake , and again she stil

makes the same mistake that she was fated to dishonour her family. Mushu admits that he

was not sent by her ancestors, and also the Cricket confesses that he is not truly a lucky

cricket. They are all about to give-up hope when they heard the Huns voices, discover that

Shan Yu and many of his soldier survived the avalanche and plan to attack the emperor.

Mulan and others quickly rush to the Imperial City to warn of the coming attack. In the city ,

Shang and his troops are being held as heroes for defeating the Huns. Mulan present herself

as a woman , she warns Shang during their victory parade and tells that she saw Shan Yu

and his soldiers are headed to the city. Shang dismisses her as a liar when they heard that

the Emperor is kidnapped by the Huns. Shang and the others turn to Mulan for a plan. They

disguised themselves as a young ladies and enter the palace when they attack some of the

Huns that was guarding the chamber into which Shan Yu had taken the Emperor. Shan Yu

threatens to kill the Emperor is he refuses to bow to him and accept him as the new leader

of China. The Emperor refuses it, during the battle, Mulan attracts Shan Yus attention by

proving her that she is the one who cause the avalanche. Mulan lures Shan Yu to the roof of

the palace , Mushu arms himself with a he firework rocket and lunches at Shan Yu and

blasted to a colourful display.

7. TREASURE
As the chaos ended , Chi Fu was about to verbally attack Mulans for her actions when Shang

defends her until the Emperor appears. He explains to Mulan that despite her fraud, she

saved the entire nation of China. The Emperor bows to Mulan , as do the countless people in

the crowd. The Emperor offers Mulan a job as his council, but Mulan respectfully declines

and express her wishes to home. The Emperor gives her his medallion and Shan Yus sword

as a gift of honor to the Fa Family.

8. RESULT

Mulan saves the Imperial City together with the Imperial troops including Shang. Now the

leader of the Huns is gone they had been banished, the city of Imperial City was no longer

bothered again and also bring China in peace.

9. RETURN

After the battle , Mulan finally returns home , his father was overjoyed at the returned of his

daughter. Mulan presents him with the Emperors medallion and the sword of Shan Yu , her

father casts the priceless gifts aside and embraces Mulan instead. He ensures that his

greatest gift and honor is having his daughter back. And also the Fa Family invites Shang to

stay for dinner with them which he awkwardly but happily accepts it.

10. NEW LIFE

Mulan changed to a better and stronger person than she was ever be. Mulan also trains the

young ones that wants to be like her and ready to fight for China in the future. She also met

the other members of the troops and invited them to the wedding which was Mulan was

married to Shang Yu. Mushu, at last restored to guardian statues in the family temple.
Mulan thanked Mushu for his help in her adventure , lastly the ancestors celebrate that the

Fa Family is complete again.

11. RESOLUTION

Mulan was no longer feel that she was a disgrace to the family. From the adventure and

battle she had gone through , Mulan was thankful for the people who had supported her all

the way. She realized that her problem was not about being the most honourable, its about

taking charge of your own destiny which no one else should be in control of your life , its

up to you how youre gonna live it.

*STATUS QUO

Everything was back the way it supposed to be. China is at peace and also Mulans family

got back together and finally she was not entitled as Disgrade by other people and she can

live her life to the fullest including Mushu, the Cricket , the Imperial Troops and also Shang

Yu.
