 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This Project paper is prepared for the requirement for the MBA Program, Southeast
University. The project paper is prepared about the financial statements analysis of a
particular firm. As an employee of Fuji Ink Industries Limited I prepared this project on this
firm, Title of the project is Financial Statements Analysis: A Case Study on Fuji Ink
Industries Limited.

Financial statement analysis is the process of understanding the risk and profitability of a firm
through analysis of reported financial information, by using different accounting tools and
techniques. Financial statements include the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement
of Cash Flows. Financial statement analysis is a valuable tool for gauging the financial
stability and health of a company. Financial statement analysis is a popular tool for investors,
stakeholders and the key decision makers within the organization.

This project paper covers about the Ink Industries in Bangladesh, focus on the Fuji Ink
Industries Limited, its Profile, about the financial statements analysis, different methods of
financial statements analysis, different techniques, process of financial statements analysis,
and also the financial analysis of Fuji Ink Industries Limited.

I think and believe that this project paper would be cover all over the aspects of financial
statement analysis, which is most fundamental things for a firm, for its stakeholders.
