5 Scope of Services
The Siemens scope of services includes the following working tasks associated to this
project:
Our Project Manager is the single point of contact for the project period and is responsible
and authorized for all technical and contractual issues and decisions regarding this process
automation system offer and project execution.
We suggest that the purchaser setup the same project management organization.
Project management will be provided for the entire duration of the project.
PD FDS Braumat S7
FDS
Supplier will generate the FDS which should be confirmed by Purchaser based on the PD
provided by the purchaser. The programming of the BRAUMAT S7 application software will
be done in accordance with the FDS generated by the supplier.

Due to the different FAT duration required by different unit, the detailed time should be
discussed according to the project situation. The FAT will be held in the Shanghai factory of
supplier.

FAT duration for each units is:
Raw Material 5 / 5 Days
Brewhouse 10 /10 Days
Cellar 10 /10 Days
Filtration 5 /5 Days
The application software will be tested by simulation, whereby plant feedback signals will be
simulated in the PLC. The development of a separate simulation system is outside the
scope of this project.
FAT
Siemens will not work out any special or additional FAT documents for the test.
5.4 Commissioning
5.4.1 General
The traveling, accommodation and costs for the scheduled installation and commissioning
period is included.
The time periods for installation and software commissioning have to be performed without
any interruption in quick succession. In case of any prolonged waiting time or where the
commissioning period is extended due to no fault of Siemens, all additional costs including
travels and accommodation will be claimed as change order request and charged in
addition upon agreement.

Commissioning of S7 application software by start and test of all sequences and
application programs with the peripheral equipment. The tests will be executed as dry and
wet test. (The IO loop test is not in the scope).
The commissioning of the new application software will start after successful completion of
the following preconditions:
Installation is successfully finished, if applicable
FAT The software FAT has been successfully completed
Sufficient quantity and quality of product
waters and steam are available.
Technological support by Purchaser is available
Received the confirmation of the ready for
software commissioning
We assume that the commissioning can be executed without interruption. During the
commissioning phase the plant shall be available without any restriction for testing. The
assumed commissioning time is:
The estimated time includes the product start-up and coverage and also the foreseeable
overtime in the weekend,
The application software will be commissioned on site by our commissioning staff in co-
operation with Purchasers personnel. Authorized and skilled personnel of the plant
operator may be involved during the commissioning.

The SAT will be done by the end customer immediately after the commissioning is finished
and production has started.

Siemens will provide the engineer as the assistant to join the SAT.

If deficiencies are detected in the scope of supply and services against the approved design
during the SAT test procedure, they will be listed in a list of open points (LOP list). The
items in the LOP list will be scheduled and the deficiencies will be solved according to the
agreed schedule. After the SAT test, Siemens staff will leave from site and the guarantee
period of one year for the relevant area will start.
5.6 Documentation
5.6.1 General
MS Office PDF
Siemens delivers one copy of final documentation in English language after successful
commissioning and appropriate time for revision. The documentation will be provided in an
electronic format by the use of MS Office; PDF.

Final documentation will be handed over to the Purchaser after successful hand-over of the
last project execution phase and appropriate time for revision (approx. 6 weeks).
Approved documents will only be issued to the purchaser once. Thereafter the purchaser is
responsible for their maintenance and any updates that may follow.
Siemens will provide standard manuals for hardware and software components. Where
those manuals are not available in electronic form Siemens will deliver them on paper.

STEP 7 Application Software Documentation
5.7 Training
Braumat
Purchaser shall provide the training room with the necessary furniture and presentation
equipment. Purchaser shall provide the training room with the necessary furniture and
presentation equipment. Training is considered as an off-line training on one Braumat Client.
All training shall be provided on the Brewery Site. Instruction shall be held during the phase
of commissioning. The training program content:

4 System maintenance
6 Project basics
To implement this project, Siemens requires the following from the purchaser in advance of
Siemens design phase of the project. Purchaser is responsible to provide electronic copies
of the approved documents in sufficient time according to the project schedule for Siemens.
Any rework required by Siemens which results from changes to approved documents may
be charge in addition.
The following scope of supply and services are to be provided by the purchaser:
Technological support by
competent Brewery personnel during the complete project duration free of charge to
Siemens.
Supply of all
necessary auxiliaries for commissioning and testing, like electrical power, compressed air,
steam, water etc., if applicable
7 Proposition
7.1 General
Any other equipment, which is not clearly mentioned in this offer, is not part of Siemens
scope of supplies and services.
Any other service or performance, which is not clearly mentioned in this proposal, is not
included in Siemens scope of supplies and services.
