Sponsor Fee Disclosure: To comply with the 408 (b) 2 regulations, MassMutual has to disclose revenue
and fees to DC and DB plan sponsors of approximately 5500 plans. Currently the fee information is
disclosed to the full service DC plan sponsors by the relationship managers using Excel spreadsheet
which includes combination of manual input and running scripts to read the production data. This method
has data accuracy issues, fee completeness issues and lack of explanation on the services provided. For
this project an automated process will be created to generate disclosures at plan level using current excel
spreadsheet. This process involves the users having the ability to batch process forms on their desktop. It
also involves users saving the document so it is stored and approving the document so it is sent to TRC
(sponsor portal) as PDF under financial reports.
Responsible for understanding user requirements, design, development and documentation of
the entire application.
