TOOLS REQUIRED: #0 or #1 Phillips head screwdriver

NOTE: Handle all components very carefully.

Carefully separate the case back from the case front,
noting the position of the two metal battery contacts.

Unplug all wires and remove the PM5 from the indoor
rower. Remove the battery door and D cell batteries.

Carefully unlock ribbon cable connector and remove the
Remove the circuit board and LCD module from the case front.
LCD ribbon cable from the connector.
Remove clear protective layer from the new LCD unit and install
in case front. Reverse disassembly procedure noting that:
LCD module is located in the recess in the case front.
Ribbon cable is fully inserted in the connector before latching.
Case front and case back should be mated evenly before
screws are put in.
Case front should be supported such that the keys are NOT
depressed when tightening the case screws.
