HOW TO FIND SQUARE OF A NUMBER ( 1 TO 125)

(A) 25 75

50 ( as a base ) ( 50*50=2500)

Ex. 48 = 2304 ( 23 ( (25 -2=23) and 2 comes from 50-48=2 ) , ( 04 (50-48=2 and square of 2 is 04)

Note : 2 is subtracted from 25 because 48 is less than 50)

64 = 4096 ( 40 ( 25 +14+1 = 40 ) 96 ( 64-50=14 , and 14 square 1 9 6 )

( 2500 work as 25 )

(B) 75 125

100 ( as a base )

104 = 10816 ( 108 ( 104 +4 ) , 16 ( 104-100 = 4 and square of 4 is 16 )

( 104 is 4 greater than 100 so we add 4 in 104 and same way we square 4 )

92 = 8464 ( 84 ( 92-8 = 84 ) , ( 100- 92 = 8 and square of 8 is 64 )

( 92 is 8 less than 100 so we less 8 from 92 and same way we square of 8)

(C) Find square of 15,25,35,45,55,65 and so on.......

15 = 225 ( 2 ( 1*2 =2) ,25 ( 5*5=25)

45 = 2025 ( 20 ( 4*5 =20) , 25 (5*5
65 = 4225 ( 42 ( 6*7= 42 ) , 25 (5*5)

Now 77 / 44

8 9 ( means 80 to 90) , 8 as 80 and 9 as 90

( 8*8=64) ( 9*9=81)

Ans is 88

Explation : 1. 77 lies between 64 and 81 , means square of 8 and square of 9 , so it is confirmed the ans lies

Between 80 to 90 .

2. between 80 to 90 , 85 ( 7225) consider as base ,( it is same with all cases).

3. so between 1 to 9 numbers only from 2 and 8 we get last digit as 8 when we square .

(2*2=4 , 8*8=64 ) because our main digit last number is 8 , 7744

4. so clearly say that , ans is 82 or 88 , but our base is 7225 (85) thats mean ans is more than 85 so we

88 as a answer.

5. when we find square root we always put a sign before last two digit means 625 ( 6/25) , 11664 (
116/64). And so on ......

2 3 ( means 20 to 30 ) 2 as 20 and 3 as 30

( 2*2*2=8) ( 3*3*3=27)

explanation:

1 when we find cube root we always put a sign before last three digits means 1331(1/331) , 3375 (3/375) and
so on....
2 there is no possibilities in cube root you have to learn cubes from 1 to 9 , and their is no base.
3 So 13824 last digit is 4 , so we have to memorise that which cube from 1to 9 last digit is 4 , so we get from
4( 4*4*4 = 64)
4 So now our ans. is ready ( ans is between 20 to 30) 20 +4 = 24 ( because there is no last digit as a 4
from any cube from 1 to 9 except 4)

Note: you have to learn squares from 1 to 25 .

This technique saves your lot of time in examination , but regular practice is necessary to learn
these techniques.
