HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus.

HIV itself is that if the infecting virus can lead to a decreased ability
to fight infection by viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites that enter the body. The HIV virus works by attacking the
human immune system. This virus also causes the sufferer vulnerable to cancer because of decreased immunity.

While AIDS (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is an advanced stage of HIV infection. HIV transmission can
occur when blood, semen, or vaginal sexual intercourse. However, this virus can not be transmitted through casual
physical contact such as hugging, kissing, or shaking hands with someone who is infected with HIV or AIDS. So, we

Causes & Risk Factors

Cause

Normally, white blood cells and antibodies attack and destroy the organism
easing you into the body. This response is regulated by the white blood cells
called CD4 lymphocytes. These lymphocytes are also a major target of HIV.
Once into the body, memasukkna viral genetic material into the lymphocytes
and multiply themselves.

When a copy of the new virus comes out of stem cells and into the
bloodstream, the virus will attack other cells. As the effect of CD4 cells
will die. This cycle is repeated. The eventual destruction of the immune
system which means that the body will not mempu against other viral and
bacterial infections.
The risk factors

AIDS infection risk factors, among others:

Do not wear protection when having sexual intercourse with more than one
partner
Do not wear protection when having sex with HIV-positive people
Having other sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, herpes,
chlamydia, gonorrhea or bacterial vaginosis.
