Supplement for commissioning a reluctance motor

The following information is missing in Chapter 5 (Commissioning) of the Operating
Instructions, Edition 09/2017:
It is only possible to operate a reluctance motor with encoderless vector control.
To commission the converter with reluctance motor, in quick commissioning you must select
one of the following application classes:
"Dynamic Drive Control"
"Expert" with the "Encoderless vector control" control mode
When selecting application class "Standard Drive Control" or control mode "V/f control" it
is not permissible during quick commissioning to configure a reluctance motor.

Supplement to display the "RDY" LED

In Chapter A.1.1 (New and extended functions, firmware version 4.7 SP9) of the Operating
Instructions, Edition 09/2017 the following information is missing:
The converter indicates the "PROFIenergy-Pause" state as follows:
LED RDY "green on": 0.5 s
LED RDY off: 3 s

Incorrect information about a Power Module

The following incorrect information is provided in Chapter A.1.1 (New and extended functions,
firmware version 4.7 SP9) of the Operating Instructions, Edition 09/2017.
[3] Support of the PM240-2 Power module, 3 AC 500 V 690 V, frame size
FSD with reduced power 3 kW 7.5 kW.
Correction:
The Power Module mentioned above does not belong to the SINAMICS G120 converter
family.

In Kapitel 5 (Inbetriebnehmen) der Betriebsanleitung, Ausgabe 09/2017, fehlt folgende
Information:
Der Betrieb eines Reluktanzmotors ist nur mit geberloser Vektorregelung mglich.
Um den Umrichter mit Reluktanzmotor in Betrieb nehmen zu knnen, mssen Sie daher in
der Schnellinbetriebnahme eine der folgenden Applikationsklassen whlen:
Dynamic Drive Control
Expert mit der Regelungsart Geberlose Vektorregelung
Bei Wahl der Applikationsklasse Standard Drive Control oder der Regelungsart
U/f-Steuerung ist es whrend der Schnellinbetriebnahme nicht mglich, einen
Reluktanzmotor zu konfigurieren.

In Kapitel A.1.1 (Neue und erweiterte Funktionen, Firmware Version 4.7 SP9) der
Betriebsanleitung, Ausgabe 09/2017, fehlt folgende Information:
Der Umrichter zeigt den Zustand "PROFIenergy-Pause" folgendermaen an:
LED RDY "grn ein": 0,5 s
LED RDY aus: 3 s

Falsche Information zu einem Power Module

In Kapitel A.1.1 (Neue und erweiterte Funktionen, Firmware Version 4.7 SP9) der

Dans le chapitre 5 (Mise en service) des Instructions de service, dition 09/2017, il manque
l'information suivante :
Le fonctionnement d'un moteur rluctance n'est possible qu'en mode rgulation vectorielle
sans capteur.
Pour la mise en service du variateur avec un moteur rluctance, il convient alors de
slectionner, dans la mise en service rapide, l'une des classes d'applications suivantes :
"Dynamic Drive Control"
"Expert" avec le type de rgulation "Rgulation vectorielle sans capteur"
En slectionnant la classe d'applications "Standard Drive Control" ou le mode de rgulation
"Commande U/f", il est impossible de configurer un moteur rluctance pendant la mise en
service rapide.

Dans le chapitre A.1.1 (Fonctions nouvelles et tendues, firmware version 4.7 SP9) des

seguente informazione:
Un motore a riluttanza pu essere fatto funzionare solo con regolazione vettoriale senza
encoder.
Per mettere in funzione il convertitore con un motore a riluttanza si deve pertanto scegliere
nella messa in servizio rapida una delle seguenti classi di applicazione:
"Dynamic Drive Control"
"Esperti" con il tipo di regolazione "Regolazione vettoriale senza encoder"
Selezionando la classe di applicazione "Standard Drive Control" o il tipo di regolazione
"Controllo U/f", durante la messa in servizio rapida non sar possibile configurare un motore
a riluttanza.

informacin siguiente:
Los motores de reluctancia solo se pueden utilizar con regulacin vectorial sin encder.
Por eso, para poner en marcha el convertidor con un motor de reluctancia, se debe
seleccionar una de las clases de aplicacin siguientes en la puesta en marcha rpida:
"Dynamic Drive Control"
"Experto" con el tipo de regulacin "Regulacin vectorial sin encder"
Si se selecciona la clase de aplicacin "Standard Drive Control" o el modo de regulacin
"control por U/f", no es posible configurar un motor de reluctancia durante la puesta en
marcha rpida.
