CONCLUSIONS

Translation is an activity that can be seen in two ways: some authors think it is harmful and other
authors think it is beneficial for those students who are learning a second language. The thing
here is that they give evidence and real facts to defend their thinking. Based on the previous
information, It is important for teachers and students to know how to focus on what they think is
worthier to develop the language learning depending on the needs of the students. Having clear
this matter, it will be possible to know what areas are necessary to construct knowledge and
which ones are better to be left in texts. After this, beyond any doubt, exercise, practice and
praxis will conduct good language skills acquisition on the side of the students. Taking into
account the previous and each Essay we can conclude that translation is a transfer of the message
from one language to another, it implies a series of elements that need to be considered when
trying to understand it.

On the other hand the students expectations on teaching processes constantly change, so it
depends on teachers to be constantly vigilant about the way they are doing their work as well as
establishing new strategies to get positive result in their teaching. Strategies open the way to
finding a suitable solution for a translation unit. The solution will be materialized by using a
particular technique. Therefore, strategies and techniques occupy different places in problem
solving: strategies are part of the process, techniques affect the result. It is proposed that
translation, as a pedagogical resource, may contribute to enhance the learners accuracy of the
second or foreign language, which will eventually foster communicative confidence and
development of their linguistic and communicative skills in both languages.
