1. What is enquiry based learning?
-Learning passivity from the teacher and memorizing facts construct their own
understanding and knowledge .

-Teachers act as the stage and the stage passing on information from a textbook to the
student, also step by step process. success is then measured in the students ability to
recite this information with a focus on reproducing one correct answer.

3. What is constructive theory?


-It's that people construct their own understanding and knowledge of the world through
experiencing things and reflecting on those experiences.

- Constructivists believe that children learn best when they ask question investigate
solution we add new knowledge as they gather information discuss their discoveries and
experiences.

4. Give an example.
-Chess recall but rather they are learning the skills to synthesize interpret and evaluate
information

5. What is the teachers role in IBL (Inquiry Based Learning)?


-Teacher act as a facilitator of the students learning.
-Content expert.
-Carefully Planned.
-Designing activities to engage students.
6. How does an IBL lesson start?
-With open-ended question devised by the teacher , the student or sometimes both ,
through the use of carefully planned activities the teacher will then encourage students
to discuss the question and search for own answers.

7. What is the order of an IBL lesson?


-Open- ended question.
-Research and investigate .
-Present and discuss.
-Reflect on their learning through this process.

8. What are the different levels of inquiry?


-Structured: Is where the teacher mainly direct the inquiry.
Good level to start.

-Guided: Student take more responsibility for establishing the direction and methods of
their inquiry.

-Open: Student take the lead in establishing the question and methods while
the teacher take on a supportive role.

10. Can you use more than one type of inquiry in a lesson? Explain how and why.
-Yes I can use more than one style of learning.

- I can use structured and informal style that I can help the child in the play or solve
some thing as Vygotsky said because some child need to help to complete their play or
solve or maybe they feel more confident when they feel someone care about him .
Teacher provide the question to the child also give them step by step instructions.

-I can use naturalistic style that the child do everything by them self as jean Piaget said .
In this style the child depends on himself and he can think deeply on his own , it help
child to expand his imagination and gain more knowledge.

-The level of inquiry can be customized to suit the student need.
