RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Peardeck is a software in which students are able to learn effectively through visual presentations. Teachers
can utilize the technology source to give their lessons to students in an interactive kind of way. For instance,
the source allows for them to ask questions regarding the lessons of the teachers and other questions to get
them thinking and interacting through their learning. Students can also use peardeck to give presentations.
The presentations can be seen through students technology devices at the time of the presentation.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

I would use the device to give out lessons. I know many lessons I have seen have been done on PowerPoint,
and a lot of the times they work; however, there are times when they are not as effective as one would think.
Students learn best when they are able to follow along to a presentation. Using peardeck would keep them on
track with the lesson. The students can be answering questions while the lesson is taking place. I would use it
to present and introduce various content. For instance, I would use it to talk about figurative language. I
would have some examples for them to be able to understand what words, such as imagery is.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
I would rate this a 3 because a lesson would not be as interactive without it. Peardeck gives students an opportunity to participate
in the class. Its effective for teachers, and it would help me a lot in creating a good learning environment in my classroom. The
class I am interning at would enjoy learning this way because they all enjoy lessons that allow for them to speak out their
thoughts and ideas.
