standards, as it is a companion piece that you can use for a vast many different types of assignments.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
Snag it is a screen capture and screen recording software. This means that you can use it to capture what you desktop looks like at
the moment, or an image on your desktop. You can also record what you are doing on your computer. This allows for you to share
your desktop with others.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING


This will be best utilized for how-to videos that I would have my students create, tutorials of sorts. During an Excel learning unit, I
would have each take a different formula and record themselves, walking through how to use it. Then I would have them present
the videos to their classmates, teaching each other different skills. This will beneficial because then they can go onto the class
blog so that students can refer back to them later on in the semester as we begin utilizing Excel more.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
I believe that this software warrants a value-added rating of a 2. It meets standards and is usable, but I find it limited in
its abilities. To fully utilize it in class, one needs to have companion software as well. For the scenario I presented earlier,
I think it would work well, but it may limited in its use to taking screen grabs and video without its partner softwares.
