6. COMPETITION RULES TM (WTF) Sparring Rules
7. ENTRIES BOYS & GIRLS 5-6, 7-8, 9-11, 12-14 & 15-17 Age Groups
1) Yellow Belt and above
2) Experience players are not allowed to take part
3) NO KICKING TO THE HEAD, only final bouts are allowed.
8. DISCIPLINE All officials and participants should strictly observe the

decorum code of the TM / WTF and the rules and regulations
of the competition.
Disciplinary action will be taken against any violation of

participants.
9. AWARD PRESENTATIONS Medals

Medals will be awarded to winners of each weight category.
1 gold + 1 silver + 2 bronze medal
10. INDEMNITIES It shall be the responsibility of the parents of participants and

their instructors to have validly completed the participation
forms, with copies of birth certificates/mykads, and have them
signed indemnifying Koryo Taekwondo Club and the organising
committee, its officials and other contestants from any claims
of injuries, losses, fatal or otherwise arising in the course of
participation in this championship or any other activities
therefore. It shall be the responsibility to ensure that
participants and officials are covered with valid insurance
coverage.

11. TERMS AND CONDITIONS All transportation, board and lodging shall be by the respective
participating teams.
Participants are advised to make early reservation for

accommodation.
12. OFFICIAL WEIGHING Official weighing-in will be held at respective training centers
by appointed instructors or representatives.
The organizing committee reserves the right to check the

weight of any participant during the championship in the case
of protests.
13. PARTICIPATION FEE RM40.00 per participant (all categories)
PROTEST FEE RM200.00 per protest
14. PROTECTIVE APPARELS 1) The organizer will not provide equipment

2) Groin & mouth guards are compulsory
3) Soft protective guards for forearms and shins are
compulsory.
15. CLOSING DATE FOR All entry forms must reach the Organising Committee on or
ENTRIES before April 17, 2017 at 5.00pm OR acceptance of entry will
stop at the 300th participant based on first come first serve
basis and any entries received after the 300th participant will
not be entertained, whichever is earlier.
