Procedure: 1) The students will grab computers and start playing the Curious George
game on the website,

Please note: Consideration of technology use can be made at all stages of the planning
process. The teacher AND the students must use the technology! You must highlight
where/when you are using technology with red or grey font.
2) After playing the game for five minutes we will have the students
come together and regroup.
3) After I have gathered all the students attention I will go through a
PowerPoint presentation to demonstrate heights of different objects.
4) After the students learn how to properly learn the differences in height
I will break them up into groups of four to start the activity.
5) After being split into groups of four, two students chosen by the
teacher will go up to the aquarium from each group and measure the
length and height of the aquarium with their tool of measurement.
6) The students will then have ten minutes to use the measurement tool to
measure the fish to see if it will fit in the aquarium.
7) The students will then bring the fish that they think are going to fit up
to the aquarium that is on the board and put the fish in the aquarium.
8) The student will write on the board the measurements of the aquarium
on the board when they go up.
9) The two students chosen by the teacher will then present to the class
on why they chose those fish.
When the groups go up the teacher can ask questions to the groups while they
present to make sure they know what they are doing. These questions would

fish to go in the aquarium? What was the length of your other fish and the
aquarium? Refer to scoring sheet
Special Needs The website will help the student with ADHD by keeping them engaged with
Technology all the stimulants they are using.
