It is my pleasure to be writing you today in regards to my application for the emergency

department position at Huntington Hospital. I believe my qualifications, experience, and skills
make me an ideal candidate for this new graduate position.
I have a bachelors degree in nursing as well as previous experience. My previous
experience has trained me to be a well-rounded, critically thinking nurse. I have a genuine
passion to help others in all aspects health, which include physical, mental, spiritual, and social
health. I am firm believer in going out of my way to heel every aspect of the patient.
As a new graduate nurse, I do not have previous experience as a registered nurse.
However, my previous experiences listed in my resume has heavily trained me in customer
service, planning for the future, and being an organizer. My most valuable experience includes
being a home health aide. Although I was not providing medical treatment, being a home health
aide gave me experience in thinking out the box and truly caring for another individual during
difficult times. For this position, I plan to bring knowledge from previous experience, an
optimistic attitude, and the genuine mission to better the lives of others.
