As far as I can remember, I have been an active member and officer of the society

ever since I started my practice in Butuan City. I have watched several Presidents
lead this organization with utmost dedication and passion while providing services
and spending time beyond what is expected of them. Each of them have strengths
that I tried to embody, and each of them have weaknesses I tried to avoid following.
Each of them has achievements they can be proud of and legacies that they can
leave, but some of them have phases in their administration that they wish they
could have done better. What I am trying to say is, there is no perfect administration.
I am sure the past presidents will agree when I say that no matter what strong-willed
you are, or how much planning you make, or how much effort you pour into the
implementation of the activities, if the members do not cooperate, then it all
becomes useless. As I pass the Presidency to Dr. Delfin Dayan, I would like to appeal
to every doctor member, and every partner especially the medical representatives to
please find it in your heart to be proactive and engage more, because at the end of
the day, the officers primary goal is to ensure the welfare of the doctors in Agusan
del Norte, and of course our constituents. Dr. Dayan can only do so much as
President, but with your help and cooperation, I am sure he can do wonders.

It seemed like yesterday when the presidency was turned over to me by Dra.
______________. It has been a tough ride, to say the least. But thankfully, I have
very dynamic officers who were always there despite their busy schedules. I would
like to request the officers to please stand up. Let us give them a round of applause.
It has been an honor working with all of you.

To the new officers, especially to Dr. Dayan, prepare yourselves because its not going
to be a walk in the park. There will be happy moments, but there will also be times
when you cannot understand anymore why we give ourselves additional headache.
But always remember that we are doing this for our love for the society and our
fellow doctors. As a gift, the ADNMS officers of 2016-2017 will be leaving a
substantial amount of funds to help you start your administration on the right foot.

Over the past year, as a society, we have accomplished a lot of things. We organized
and participated in medical missions, we initiated relief operations for the fire and
flood victims, we organized a gift-giving for the Senior Citizens, we conducted the
family day for doctors, among others. But the greatest achievement that I will
probably have from this experience is the fulfillment that I have gained from serving
all of you, my beloved doctors. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
