Crustless Italian Sausage Low Carb Pizza

Ingredients:
2 lbs-2.5lbs bulk Italian Sausage (I purchased at Marianos)
12 oz package of sliced Mozzarella Cheese (I purchased at Trader Joes)
1 can of Marinara Sauce(avoid sauces with additives or added sugars (I purchased
the 28oz green can at Trader Joes)
Baby Spinach (Good fiber topping, but you can use what you prefer or keep it
plain.)
Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano.

Recipe:
1. I used a 14-inch-deep dish pizza pan for this recipe. Mix your bulk Italian
sausage with Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, and Oregano (flavor to
preference). After seasoning and mixing together, set in pizza pan and press
it evenly into your pan using a spatula. Even out the thickness all round,
while forming a high crust along the edge of the pan.
2. Pre-heat your oven to 425F and then cook the sausage for 15-20 minutes.
You dont want to fully cook it yet, just enough to brown it. The sausage
will shrink from the edges but a high crust should have formed. Take the pan
out and prepare your toppings.
3. Lay the sliced Mozzarella cheese as evenly as possibly on the sausage, while
leaving the edges of the crust uncovered.
4. Put an even layer of toppings (Spinach is great for this) on top of the cheese.
5. Now pour your Marinara Sauce over your toppings and cheese, while
leaving the edges exposed for your crust.
6. Put the pizza back in the oven at 425F and cook for an additional 35-40
minutes. When you see the cheese starting to show through the sauce and
have a yellowish color, youll know its finished. Let it cool for 10-15 mins
and ENJOY!
