Reimbursement
1. What can be reimbursed?
Reimbursement can only be made on the following devices: -
i) Sony Xperia Z3 : 16GB (currently retailing at RM2,199)
and
ii) Macbook Pro 13-inch : 2.5GHz (currently retailing at RM3,499)

2. What is the maximum amount of reimbursement?

The maximum allowed for reimbursement is RM6,000.00

3. When can the reimbursement be made?

Reimbursement can be made only after the mobile app has been successfully be
present on the google play store

4. What do I submit for reimbursement?

An ICONapp Reimbursement Form needs to be filled up, along with a receipt of
the device cost to be reimbursed.

The receipts must show the date between the date on the Letter of Offer and
the date the mobile app is uploaded into the online store.

5. Can I reimburse for Android Developers Account?

No. As the account will solely be owned by the developer, we find that it is in the
best interest for the developer to pay for this on their own accord.

Purchase of Devices
1. How many devices can I purchase?
The training given is for the development of the mobile app catered to iOS
devices, therefore, participants are allowed to purchase the Sony Xperia Z3 :
16GB, as well as the Macbook Pro 13-inch : 2.5GHz. These devices acts as tools,
to enable the successful completion of the app.

2. Where can we purchase the devices?

The devices can be purchased only at Sony Authorised Resellers. The resellers
are detailed in Sony Website as below.

3. When can we purchase the devices?
The devices can be purchased after the applicant has successfully completed the
Training, and before the applicant submit the mobile app into the online store;
also within four (4) months after the Letter of Offer (as per Clause D in Annexure
2 in the Letter of Offer).

Duration of Mobile App Development

1. How long are we allowed to develop the mobile app?
The applicant need to completely develop the mobile app (as per idea accepted
during the Pitching) within three (3) months after the last day of Training.

We allow another one (1) month extension to the due date, as long as there is a
black-and-white request with acceptable reason, to be approved by MDeC.
