1.0 SCOPE
This Specification covers the minimum requirement for supply of lighting fixtures. All
material furnished shall meet the design conditions as stated in this specification and shall be
new, free of defects and of the rating specified.
2.0 APPLICABLE CODES AND STANDARDS

All lighting fixtures shall be designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the
relevant international codes and standards.
3.0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 NORMAL FLUORESCENT LIGHTING FIXTURE

i) Type No.: 1
Description: Fluorescent type lighting fixtures with 2 x 36 watts bi-pins
equipped with reflector, guard and diffuser.
Installation: Pole mounting bracket (suitable for 50mm diameter pole) to be
provided for stanchion mounted, bracket mounted & ceiling
mounted
Supply Voltage: 220VAC
Supply Frequency: 60Hz
Area Classification: Class I, Zone 2, Gas Group IIA, Temperature Class T3
IP Rating: 67
Enclosure: Stainless steel body construction with clear polycarbonate cover
Cable Entry: 2 brass cable glands M20
Termination: 3C x 2.5mmsq conductor
3.2 FLOODLIGHT LIGHTING FIXTURE

Description: Floodlight lighting fixtures with 1 x 400 watts High Pressure
Sodium Lamp equipped with 50 wide beam reflectors
Installation: Stirrup mounting bracket to be provided suitable for handrail
mounted and column mounted
Area Classification: Class 1, Zone 2, Gas Group IIA, Temperature Class T3
IP Rating: 67
Enclosure: Stainless steel deep drawn, seamless housing.
Cable Entry: 2 x Brass cable glands M20.

pins equipped with reflector, guard and diffuser.

for a duration of 90 minutes one lamp in operation

for a duration of 90 minutes with one lamp in operation
