About me

I have been teaching ELA for 3 years and I am loving it. I

started o doing interventions for middle and high school
students. Even as a young adult I knew I wanted to
become an educator later on. I graduated from north
American University and my interests include camping,
music, and art. To sum it all up, I am so excited to have
you in my class and eager to learn more about you.
Why teaching as a career?

Teaching inspires us to share our knowledge with others in a

way that benefits students in the long term. Like any other
profession it has its moments where we are challenged but
one ought to think of the students benefits first. It is like
performing a community service project that has no ending.
Because learning is possible, a teacher is challenged to
create new ways to adjust to a students needs and
expectations they may have or whatever is possible to make
sure they learn. It is an unconditional love that many may not
be willing to give, but those that are, find happiness in its
simplest form with many forms of satisfaction.
What is my teaching
philosophy?
As a teacher, I make it a personal goal to connect with my students
as a link between content and their learning environment. I want to
help them develop their moral character through leadership.
Through this methodology students become competent, research-
based thinkers, and self conscientious leaders. My teaching
philosophy introduces teamwork and hands on activities so my
students can get a feel of what working with others will be like in the
real world. Part of making this a reality is establishing good rapport
with students. Making them believe they have the power to affect
positive change is only the beginning of the many things an
instructor can set up in the classroom.
