1. Recital:
a) Johann Sebastian Bach, of free choice:
- Siciliano and Presto from Sonata I solo, in G minor;
- Tempo di Bourre and Double din Partita I solo, in B minor;
- Andante and Allegro from the 2nd Sonata solo, in A minor;
- Sarabande and Gigue from Partita a II-a solo, in D minor;
- Largo and Allegro assai from Sonata a III-a solo, in C major;
- Prelude from Partita a III-a solo, in E major;
- Loure and Gavotte en Rondeau from Partita a III-a solo, in E major.
b) One study of free choice from:
- Henryk Wieniawski: Capriccio no. 2, op. 18 in E flat major;
Capriccio no. 4, op.18 in A minor;
Capriccio no. 5, op.10 in E flat major;
c) One concerto of free choice from:
- Camille Saint-Sans: Concerto no. 3, in B minor, part I or II and III;
- Edouard Lalo: Spanish Symphony, in D minor, op. 21, part I or II and III, or IV
and V;
- Felix Mendelssohn: Concerto in E minor, op. 64, part I or II and III;
- Henryk Wieniawski: Concerto no. 2 in D minor, op. 22, part I or II and III;
- Paul Constantinescu: Concerto in A minor, Allegro and Andante or Allegro
molto;
- Max Bruch: Concerto no. 1, in G minor, op. 26, part III;
- W.A. Mozart Concerto no. 3 in G major, K.V. 216, part I, with cadenza by
Sam Franco or by David Oistrah.
Note: the first round will be performed by heart.

2. Instrumental technique:
a) A major scale and its minor relative (melodic) from:
- B flat major G minor;
- C major A minor;
- D major B minor,
containing - the scale in 3 octaves;
- arpeggios in 3 octaves;
- double strings in 2 octaves, in quavers & sixteenths metronome - quarter note
minimum 60.
The scale and the arpeggios will be presented as in the Carl Flesch edition and the
double scales as in the Robert Klenck edition.
Note: The scales are going to be presented by heart.
b) Two studies - one melodic and one in double strings from the following four
studies:
- Jacob Dont: Study no. 8, op. 35, in C major;
Study no.14, op. 35, in F major.
- Pierre Gavinis: Study no. 4, in G major;
Study no. 8, in G minor.
Note: for these studies there are allowed music scores
c) First sight reading

Theoretical round
a) Solfeggio: First sight reading of a solfeggio in G and F keys, within a tonality
with maximum four constitutive alterations, modulations, containing intervals
(including decimal), in one of the following bars 3/4, 4/4, 6/8, 5/8;
b) Analyzing the solfeggio (tonal and rhythmical)
c) Musical hearing (simple and composed intervals, chords of three sounds in
close & wide position). Simple interval construction (oral).
