DELIVERY OF THE COURSE


The subject, being highly application oriented, the teaching is designed as a learning process
through sharing of knowledge & skills amongst the teacher as a facilitator and students as active
learners
Active participation is expected from all the Students to ensure proper knowledge sharing.
The sessions are desired to be interactive.

The following instructional methods will be used during the semester:


a. Lecture method by the teacher
b. Presentation by students based on preassigned reading exercise/assignments etc
c. Case analysis requiring:
- Written analysis of case(WAC)
- Open discussion in the class(DIC)
- Group presentation based on dialectical method
d. Practical exercise in the class

Exam and quizzes:


a. There will be four short quizzes of 30 minutes duration, conducted during the class hours.
The quizzes are usually announced but some times can be unannounced.
b. The midterm examination will be two hours
c. The final examination will be three hours

Following is the breakup of the assessment components for this course. The activities listed
below will be used to test learning through the course:

IMPORTANT NOTES:

**It is reminded that there is score for discipline and conduct. The student behavior should be very supportive.
The score can be even negative if the students fail to improve despite reminders by the teacher
***Students are required to be very punctual, attentive and interactive in the class. The intensity and quality of
participation will be duly evaluated.
The teacher will provide first feed back to students fifteen days after start of the class
The further details will be explained in the class.
The final grading of the students will be done after end term examination on the basis of relative performance of
both groups.
