Behavioral Observations

In the Elevator, the observers observed 10 random people; the 2 observers

observed in two different places; one from FEU nursing building elevator and the
other observed in the elevator of a mall. The following observations are from the
first observer:
1. A FEU Senior High School Student was wearing her earphones while listening to
music
2. A male student entered whos holding piles of paper,
3. Another male student entered whos chewing a gum,
4. Two female students entered while chatting loudly,
5. A male student who was tried to sleep in the elevator ride.

The following observations are from the second observer:

1. A lady (estimated age: late 20s-early 30s) standing next to a kid (ea: 6-7yrs) who
was holding her hand.
2. A woman (e.a: early 50s) was talking to a man (ea: mid 50s) while holding a kid's
hand that was looking at the view at the glass elevator was giving.
3. A man (e.a: early 30s) carrying huge bags was just standing and was looking at the
elevator buttons.
4. A man (e.a: early 40s) was holding a stroller and was looking straight at the elevator
door and was looking uncomfortable due to the small space he was placed in.
5. A woman's (e.a: late 40s) arm was over the shoulder of a kid and was whispering
something.

In the mall, the following observations were made:

1. There were shoppers who argued about what they would purchase,
2. A child I left unattended in a clothing store, running into customers who are aimlessly
walking around,
3. An old lady asked an employee for some chairs for her to sit and place her bags on,
4. A woman sat on a table in the crowded food court without any other purpose
besides using her phone, taking up unnecessary space,
5. There are people who still dont follow the escalator etiquettes even though
theres a sign written beside the escalator,
6. The advertisers who are giving out flyers or the ones who would try to strike up
a conversation with a customer to advertise are being ignored constantly,
7. There are people who would stand by the railings while hey use their mobile
gadgets,
8. Some people are eating while they are standing because of lack of chairs in
the food court,
9. Middle-aged to senior citizens are sleeping in the rocking chair,
10. A family of 5, three children. The kuya was carrying bags and was stomping
loudly and his little sister imitated him; it appeared that he was having a hard
time carrying the bags and looks like he have his mind elsewhere as he stomp
and look around the mall.
11. A lady in blue polka dots dress was using her phone and was walking slowly.
She fixes her hair every now and then and looks at stores where there are
clothes.
12. A couple in uniform, the girl holding the guys arm, they are both smiling. They
looked at the mannequin and showed interest in the clothes, entered H&M,
appeared like they are choosing clothes for the guy.
13. Two girls were saying ,"omg" and how high the prices are at H&M and the other
girl talked about how she brought her father there and said how nice the clothes
and sarcastically said that the prices were nice too they were casually strolling
the store while holding hands but not in a romantic way.
