Introduce the new lesson by telling them a story.

Activity 1
Each group will have an ice-cream
cone . (LA and MA will have one
ice-cream cone and one ice-cream
cup, HA will have two ice-cream
cone with different shape and one
ice-cream cup)
Activity 2
I will tell the students a story and
then I will ask them question.
Each student will model the
answer on a small board and write
an equation question.

Each group will have an ice-cream

flavor. ( LA will have two flavors,
MA and HA will have three
flavors)

The students will match each ice-

cream cone and cup with all the
flavors that they have.

They will write and draw the tree

Each group will have a different t-
shirt and skits with different
colors. (all the groups will have
three different t-shirt color, LA
will have two skits color, MA three
skits color, HA four skits color)

They will answer questions on
their book page 221 question 2. (if
there is time they will answer
question 3)
Closing/ Conclusion: Time: 5 minutes
I will put on the board three books and pens with different colors.
I will ask them to model the tree complications and write an equation question
with the answer on their small boards.

Comments
- Book they usually use it so
they can dill with it.
- Object made them exciting
and engaging also, its aim to
their age.
- Story telling made the focus
and exciting for the lesson.
They like it a lot and I know
that because they were
engaged.
- They like group work and
they were engaged because
they want to finish quickly
and with right answer.
- The reward worked with
them easily and privileges
even the bill. Both of them
worked very well and the
student use to it.
- When I change my tone I
grape their attention and they
focus with me.
- I give them 2 or 5 minutes to
finish the activity. (when the
students hear the bill they
have to stop working)
- I used timing bill for each
activity so, if the activity is for
5 minutes, after 5 minute the
bill ring so the stop working.
- I collect the paper after they
finish the class.
- I go arrowed them during
activity to assess them and ask
them some questions.
General Comments
This lesson worked very well the students were engaged. The activities were engaged, its fit their
needs but, it was too long and need more time so the time management for this lesson was not
perfect.
