Student teacher will play game called prediction game with the students about today lesson. For
example, she will call 2 girls to come on the carpet, then she will have 12 cubes, then she will
pass the cubes one by one to the two girl. Other students should say what happen and what
happen to the cubes?

(if the link did not work), student teacher will explain the how to solve the division
problem by showing example on the whiteboard. 14 divide by 2 = 7. (The first number
will show to the amount that I have to share (14). The second number how many
boxes should I draw (2). Then I will start to share the amount 14 one by one for each
box. I will will explain 2 to 3 examples on the Whiteboard. (12 divide by 2), (10 divide
by 2), (16 divide by 2).

After that, I let the students to use their mini white board and solve the question that I
will give them. For example, (6 divide by 2), (18 divide by 2).

Emerging:
will work with student teacher, they will work in pairs. They will have different numbers card
from 1 to 20 and counters. They will choice a number card from the plastic box, then they will
use the counters to represent the amount of what they have. After that, they will start to share
equal between them, later they will write the division statement in their math journal.
For example, the number card is 2, when they show 2 counters, they will share equally to the
two persons, each one will get one counter. After that they will write 2 divide by 2 will give me
1 using the division sign.

Developing:
They will make a puzzle game by solving the following problem. Student teacher will give each
student a sentence problem (numbers from 4 up to 20), the student needs to solve it and make
3 facts halves.
For example, the sentence problem will be: Moze spent 16 AED, and Noor spent only half of
Mozas amount. The division statement will be 16 divide by 2 = 8. Other facts halves, 160
divide by 2 = 80, 160 divide by 20 = 8, 1600 divide by 20 = 80. Then they will write their
statements in the puzzle template of 4, and cut it, and pass it to other students in their group to
play.

Mastered:
They will make a puzzle game by solving the following problem. Student teacher will give each
student a sentence problem (numbers from 20 up to 50), the student needs to solve it and
make 1 fact half, and 2 multiply double facts. For example, the sentence problem will be:
Shiakha has 30 apples, and Alya has half Shiakhas amount. The division statement will be 30
divide by 2 = 15. Other fact half will be 300 divide by 20 = 15. The multiply fact double will be
2x15 =30, and 20x15=3000. Then they will write their statements in the puzzle template of 4,
and cut it, and pass it to other students in their group to play.

Student teacher will end the lesson by let the students to discussion on their groups of what they
learned today, and give example of their work.
