Characteristic :
The carrot is a root vagetable, usually orange in colour. The plant probably originated in
Persia and was originally cultivated fot its leaves and seeds. Nowadays, the most commonly
eaten part of the plant is the tap root. It grows a rosette of leaves in the spring and summer
while building up the stout. Fast growing varieties mature within three month of showing the
seed. The roots contain high quantities of and carotene, and its good source of vitamin K
and vitamin B6. carotene is a natural chemical that our body can changes into vitamin A.

Characteristic :
Cassava is a root vegetable, its a major source of carbohydrates. Cassava is the third largest
source of food carbohydrates in the tropic, after rise and maizene.
The cassava root is long and tapered. A woody vascular bundle runs along the roots axis.
Cassava roots are very rich in starch and contain significant amount of calcium, phosphorus
and vitamin C. However, its poor in protein. In contrast, cassava leaves are a good source of
protein.

Castor bean is a seed of Ricinus communis, castor bean is a source ofcastor oil, a cathartic.
