outcomes?

In this article, W. Bryce Hagedorn and Tabitha Young explain game addiction and the behaviors
that comes along with it. Although we are talking about internet addiction, gaming is a big factor
of the internet. Students will spend hours without end behind a computer screen and playing
games via the internet with other gamers all over the world. This article explains the effects that
this can have on the gamer himself and the behaviors that come along with it. Effects can include
mental and social effects. I will use this source in my paper to help me as a counter argument and
an example of addiction. There is a couple of quotes that I believe could help support my paper

www.jstor.org.lib.utep.edu/stable/23421688
In this article, Chiungjung Huang talks about a research that studied students from the end of
their freshman year to the end of their junior year. The study showed that there was more
stability than change when it comes to students using the internet. These students were prone to
depression due to internet addiction and did not make any changes in many different aspects of
their life. I plan to use this source in my paper very much because my main idea for this paper is
to talk about the harm that the internet does to the users and this source heavily talks about the
downside of the internet. It is very much so part of my main argument and there is a few quotes

www.jstor.org.lib.utep.edu/stable/42955723
In this article, Gustavo S. Mesch is giving us a different view towards the issue of internet
addiction. In the study that he conducted, it shows that internet use did not have much of an
effect on peoples social skills. In fact, it was the people that did not use the internet as much that
had a harder time speaking to others and getting involved in the community or social gatherings.
This is an interesting point of view because the normal view about internet addiction is the total
opposite. I plan to use this source on my paper as an example of an opposing view. My reasoning
for this is because Mesch speaks about how in Israel, internet does not have that much of an
effect in social activities among adolescents. I believe that this source will help in my favor by
giving an example of a different point of view. There is specific quotes that I would like to use in

In this article, Milica Niculovi, Dragana ivkovi, Dragan Manasijevi and Nada trbac speak
about what internet addiction is usually referred to as. It is stating that it is the individual using
the internet themselves that cant control their time spent on the internet. It also states how the
users of the internet become stressed and unable to do real life things when they do not use the
internet for an extended amount of time. I will use this source in my paper to show the negative
effects that the internet has on people. It is mostly part of my main argument because I am
talking about the downsides that the internet has and how addiction to it can be very bad. There

In this article, Kenneth Search is elaborating on the dangers of internet addiction and the
dependency (addictive illness) of the internet that a lot of people have. According to this article,
internet addiction has recently been seen as bad or slightly equal to alcoholism (addiction to
alcohol). Treatment providers have recently started to help people with internet addiction with
the same techniques/help that someone with alcohol addiction and or dependency might receive.
Like alcoholics use alcohol to cope with real life problems, internet abusers rely on the internet
as well to push their problems aside or so they say. I will use this source in my paper to show
how internet addiction is truly dangerous. The comparison of internet addiction to alcoholism
can be used as a great example to show how much of a life-threatening issue it can be. There is a
couple of quotes that would help my paper become stronger and benefit it very much.

In this article, the purpose to this specific experiment was to observe if the use of the internet had
any effects on the users emotional state and mind. One of the results that came across was that
most users of the internet were using the web to escape real life problems. This was considered
as internet abuse. I will use this source in my paper to show the effects of internet dependency
on peoples emotional state of mind. Like most of the other resources I will be using for my
paper, this source will help me show how internet addiction can have a very bad effect on people
every day. I would like to use a couple of quotes from this source to help not only myself, but
