The first article discusses a study that found students with less than 20 minutes for lunch consumed less of their food than those with 25 minutes. It suggests schools could improve lunch lines and checkout to help students eat more. The study was funded by Project Bread and Arbella Insurance. The second article proposes reducing the school lunch period from one hour to 30 minutes to decrease student indiscipline and violence, allowing teachers to leave earlier.
