PROJECTS:
M.Tech Project, Prediction of Mine Roof Using Artificial Neural Networks (Present)
- Developed an Algorithm in C++ to detect pressure cycles of roof support from 1 million rows and 300 columns of sensor data.
- Provided weights to different types of roofs at various interval based on their pressure resetting values in the roof supports.
- Working on classification of pressures cycles using Support Vector Machines and generating clean data for training.
- Working on prediction of periodic roof fall interval based on the given weights in hidden layer and input layer using ANN.
Formation of Fundamental Mesh Matrix in ventilation Network (Jan'17-April'17)
- Implemented Prim's algorithm in C++ to obtain minimum spanning tree from the ventilation network and marked all the tree branches.
- Developed an algorithm to Identified the path taken by ventilating air in the ventilation network for each loop in the network.
- Formed Fundamental Mesh Matrix based on the direction of air flow in each spanning tree branch and in the corresponding chords.

PROJECTS IN NEUMERICAL MODELLING:

Equivalent Anisotropic Analysis of Rock Mass Using Ansys (jan17-April17)
- Considered an isotropic rock mass with two sets of joints and calculated the constitutive matrix.
- Developed an equivalent anisotropic constitutive matrix based on the joint properties.
- Using the anisotropic matrix developed a model in Ansys and obtained the displacement results.
- The obtained results were verified by hand calculations based on the joint properties using FEM.
INTERNSHIPS:
CSIR - CIMFR, Blast Fragment Optimization (July'14)
- Identified various parameters that are highly significant for rock fragmentation due to explosive blasting in an open-cast mine.
- Applied the Kuz-Ram model to obtain the function for calculating mean fragment size for the data collected from blasting.
- Implemented steepest descent algorithm in C++ to obtain optimum values for all the parameters considered for the analysis.
