BLUE SENTINEL200 experience 180 experience

Jungle EXP

*(Note: All %EXP reductions only affect the base EXP of a camp. Flat EXP additions from
Hunters Machete or Hunters Talisman are unaffected by all %EXP reductions.)

*(Note: No camps level up dynamically. They spawn/respawn at the average game level and
remain at the level they spawned at. Scuttle Crab respawns at the average game level -1.
Camps spawn at level 2 at the games start.)

Camp Base EXP

Baron = 600 global EXP, 800 local EXP shared between Killer and Nearby Allies
Baron has per-minute stat increases, but it is always Level 1. The 800 local EXP
pool provided by Baron is thus always reduced by 20%, down to 640, as per the
Overleveled EXP Reductions mentioned below. As such, a Baron solo will always
result in 1240 EXP for the killer.

Dragon = 75-300 EXP to Killer and Nearby Allies (Based on Dragon Level)
If the team that slays Dragon has a lower average level than that of their opponents,
Dragon grants +25% bonus experience per average level difference.
Bonus experience is sharply increased for the lowest level members of the team, equal
to +15% per number of levels behind Dragon squared (max total +200% extra).

Rift Herald = 200 EXP

Scuttle Crab = 10 EXP
Red Buff = 200 EXP
Blue Buff = 200 EXP
Krugs = 272 EXP (Large = 125 EXP, Medium = 35 EXP (*3), Small = 7 EXP (*6))
Gromp = 200 EXP
Raptors = 195 EXP (Large = 20 EXP, Small = 35 EXP (*5))
Wolves = 180 EXP (Large = 100 EXP, Small = 40 EXP (*2))

*(Note: This is before any additional EXP from Talisman/Machete. Scuttle Crab will give ~60
EXP with Talisman/Machete, for example. Base EXP is important to list separately from the
total, because %EXP reductions only affect the base EXP of a camp.)
EXP Additions (from Hunters Talisman/Hunters Machete):
Large Monster Kill EXP Bonuses
+50 EXP

Underleveled (Catchup) EXP Bonuses

+30 EXP per monster per level under camp *(Note: All monsters. Only up to 7 level difference.)

Example 1: Jungler is level 2. Raptors are level 3. +30 EXP per raptor (*6) = 180 bonus EXP.

Example 2: Jungler is level 4. Gromp is level 6. +30 EXP per level (*2) = 60 bonus EXP.

EXP Reductions (general, not tied to junglers):

*(Note: EXP reductions stack multiplicatively.)

Overleveled EXP Effectiveness (Rough)

0 level(s) over camp = 100% EXP
1 level(s) over camp = 99% EXP
2 level(s) over camp = 94% EXP
3 level(s) over camp = 89% EXP
4 level(s) over camp = 84% EXP
5+ level(s) over camp = 80% EXP

First Clear EXP Effectiveness

Buffs = 100% EXP
Small Camps = 75% EXP
Large Krug = 75% EXP * 50% EXP = 37.5% EXP

First Clear EXP Reduction Restrictions:

The first clear EXP reduction is lifted when two requirements are fulfilled:
1. The champion clearing the camp is level 3+.
2. The camp itself is level 3+.
Special Krugs Section Because Krugs Are Confusing
The Krugs camp is special in that, while the initial Large + Medium Krug spawn under the same
rules as other camps, the successive 2x Medium Krugs + 6x Small Krugs spawn at the average
game level -1.

Example 1: If the average game level is 17, but Krugs have never been cleared, the initial Large
+ Medium Krug will be level 2. The successive 2x Medium Krugs + 6x Small Krugs will spawn
at level 16. Overleveled/underleveled EXP additions or penalties apply accordingly.

Example 2: Jungler is level 5. Average game level is 3. Krugs respawn, meaning the initial
Large + Medium Krug are level 3. The jungler will receive 94% EXP effectiveness on the base
EXP of the Large + Medium Krug.

The successive 2x Medium Krugs + 6x Small Krugs will spawn at level 2. This means the
jungler will receive 89% EXP effectiveness on the base EXP of the 2x Medium Krugs + 6x Small
Krugs. However, because these Krugs spawn at level 2, the requirements to remove the First
Clear EXP Reductions are no longer fulfilled. As a result, these Krugs will all receive a further
75% EXP effectiveness penalty. %EXP reductions stack multiplicatively, so all of these Krugs
will have 66.75% EXP effectiveness.

Example 3: Jungler is level 5. Average game is level 8. Krugs havent been cleared since the
start, so initial Large Krug + Medium Krug are level 2. Jungler will receive (75% * 89%) =
66.75% EXP effectiveness on initial Medium Krug and (75% * 50% * 89%) = 33.375% EXP
effectiveness on initial Large Krug.

Successive 2x Medium Krugs + 6x Small krugs will spawn at level 7. Jungler will receive +30
EXP per level (*2) per monster (*8) in bonus EXP, for 480 bonus EXP.

In total, the jungler will receive 33.375% EXP effectiveness on initial Large Krug, 66.75% EXP
effectiveness on initial Medium Krug, and 100% EXP effectiveness on 2x Medium Krugs + 6x
Small Krugs, in addition to 480 bonus EXP from catchup EXP.
Notes
Generally speaking, the Raptor camp is the most problematic when it comes to catchup EXP, as
they give +180 bonus EXP per level you are under the camp. Gromp only gives +30 bonus
EXP per level under, which isnt particularly relevant, while Wolves give +90. Krugs are kind of
strange and complicated, as per the examples above.

Do keep in mind that camps only level upon respawn, so you cant just let your camps sit there,
fall behind the average game level, and return to your camps expecting to get tons of free EXP.
The camps will remain at the same level they spawned at, and youll actually be getting a small
overleveled penalty instead.

If you do happen to leave some camps untaken because youre prioritizing ganks, Krugs should
theoretically be the best camp to do this with, because after killing the initial two Krugs, the rest
of the Krugs camp will spawn based on the average game level -1, meaning the majority of the
camp wont carry a large EXP penalty. If youre level 7 and the average game level is 9, and
your Krugs are still first spawn level 2 Krugs, youll take a reduction on the first two Krugs but
actually receive catchup EXP on the rest of the camp, which will spawn as level 8 (for 240
bonus EXP). Meanwhile, youd just be getting reduced experience on any other camp.

Coming from the other side of the coin (all you junglers who complain about opposing junglers
benefitting from catchup EXP), one of your top priorities when against an underleveled jungler
should be to regularly counterjungle his Raptor camp, as thats where the majority of his
catchup EXP will come from. That being said, catchup EXP is a largely-exaggerated mechanic
that isnt nearly as problematic as people like to suggest at the moment. As mentioned above, it
often isnt even applying to junglers who leave their camps up while spam-ganking, because
camps dont level up dynamically, and theyre coming back to underleveled camps. Also
remember that Raptors and Krugs dramatically inflate jungler CS, so dont get confused about
why the enemy jungler is keeping pace with you despite having much lower CS. He may just be
prioritizing his Wolves and Gromp instead.
