activity will help the students understand the SOL of applying
self-assessments as this gives them a variety of ways to indicate
how they are currently doing physically, while also giving
motivation to improve their overall understanding of personal
health. Teaching the students how to form a good habit will
implement towards the progression of fitness goals in the
future, and also help towards creating an activity which will help
them achieve 60 minutes of exercise a day, appropriate
intensities set to each student. I will be presenting this
slideshow on a board where the students can cooperate, with
beginning by giving a brief introduction to the section, and
asking the students some pre-slideshow questions to see if the
pupils have any prior knowledge on the subject. After the short
introduction of the point and how this can affect their lives, I will
begin calling on students whom think they have the answer, or
could be an example to the class. I will allow students to come
to the front of the class and work on the smart board so the
students can get more of a hands on experience. On slides
which require the whole class to answer (I.E. the slide asking
about amount of exercise per week) I will simply have the
students raise their hand for the answer they are giving while I
work with the interactive board. Towards the end, there will be
post questions given to assess the students and receive an

understanding of whether or not the smartboard has been


helpful. I will also allow students to write down their answers if
not comfortable with answering in front of other children. This
interactive Smart Notebook will give me as the teacher an
accurate representation of where each student is actively, help
students to be able to plan ahead, monitor themselves during
physical activity, and meet all the standard requirements for this
SOL.
