Summary of essential A brief functional analysis was used to examine the influence of

engaged during difficult times, multiple times per day. Movement
experiences throughout the day give children time to better process what they
are learning. Regularly scheduled movement experiences may also serve as
coping strategies for children with shorter attention spans. Research shows
that it is not enough to change the components of a cognitive learning
activity, like moving from reading to math; children require actual breaks in
instruction to internalize new knowledge. Engaging successfully in
movement activities with their classmates can be a source of joy for all
children and can create a sense of belonging and ownership

Implications/Action Planning- I plan to use this article to prove my findings

of music and movement to be key options when assisting children through
transitions. With this article, I will be able to discuss my findings and back
them with research, that this method is easy and effective for the preschool
classroom.
