value of each digit;

Online In this activity, the students will learn how to read and write six digit numbers
Activit with the help of a website called Explore Learning. After the students have been
y introduced with six digit number and place values from the online courses book,
the teacher will set up each student with their own sub- account under the
teachers account so the progress can be seen using Explore Learning. On this
website under Gizmos there are two simulations that will be introduced by the
teacher. The first one is Cannonball Clowns and the second is Target Sum card
game. These two simulations have each student interactively show their
knowledge of six digit numbers and place values.

The students will be given an assignment to complete each simulation at least

two times, (they can keep going for the practice if desired). They will be given 1
hour to complete the simulations. The teacher will be grading this assignment off
of completion showing that each student interacted with numbers and place
values. At the end of this assignment the teacher will turn on the microphone so
that anyone with questions can ask before going onto the next assignment.
Because this simulation is only graded on completion the students will have a
