Rhetorical Awareness

The editorial attends to the needs of the reader and is easy to follow in respect to the styles of the LA and
NY Times. The editorial is written in an informative and persuasive way in respect to the topic of exercise
being an effective form of treatment for mental illness.

Ethical Research

The citation style used follows an MLA format based on the in text citations within the editorial. In the
section about anxiety, I think its unnecessary to include quotation marks within the in text citation.
Throughout the editorial there seems to be a good amount of different sources that were integrated within
the editorial.

Support/ Evidence

The editorial definitely included very well written informative elements that as a whole make the editorial
persuasive and effective to the reader. You did a great job in elaborating on terms and breaking them
down further to distinguish types of mental illness and how they differ. A strong point Id like to
acknowledge is that I really liked how you broke down the types of exercise into aerobic and anaerobic
exercises because specifying the type of exercise used for specific types of mental illness made your
position on the topic stronger while keeping it clear and insightful.

Organization

The editorial is very easy to follow and the headings make the information presented transition smoothly
from section to section. All the elements such as an introduction, thesis, topic sentences and headings
were present which made the editorial well organized. All the information stayed consistent with the
headings they were under and overall made the editorial clear and informative.

Language

Another strong point in the editorial is that you define all terms that a reader might not have knowledge
on. The language used is effective, informative and easy enough to comprehend when diving into the
topic. There is a good amount of discussion in regards to the outside sources used and the information on
the topic is presented very well and is easy to follow.

Design

Within the design of the editorial I notices an issue with spacing between lines and also noticed that
sentences tend to look incomplete. The images are well placed and are relevant to the sections that
mention the topic portrayed in the visual. Your reference page has some highlighted sections so make
sure to fix that issue along with the cutoff sentences and over spaced sections. Overall, the editorial
follows the LA style format pretty well.
