Re: International Agriculture and Irrigation Innovations

Purpose
The purpose report on our study to recommend the best course of action for Agriculture and
irrigation.

Introduction
In third world countries, inadequate irrigation technology are causing farm lands to suffer. 810
million are under nourished and 80% of farmlands are being irrigated which is a simple solution
that can double the amount of food. Developing a machine or a device that could provide proper
irrigation to the farmlands which will help feeding the country.

Our company specializes in agriculture, irrigation word wide. If we can develop and send the
devices to the struggling countries, they will not have to depend on other sources and countries
for food. It could save on cost for logistics and outsources.
Results of Research
In this progress report we present our completed work on Task 1. Then we discuss our future
work in Task 2.

Task 1: Primary Research

We have worked with a sister company Drip Works to develop a row crop irrigation system. In
testing the device we found that it works. But the only issue now is developing a water source
that will hold water and accumulate the amount to irrigate the farm lands properly.

Task 2: Secondary Research

If we can improve the water sources and the devices to get the water from the water sources,
then the country will not have to depend on others for food needs. They will be able to grow
their own crops and maybe their economy will improve.

We`re in the progress of finding land that we can surveyed thats having the issue of irrigation
and poor crop lands.

Schedule

Conclusion
We successfully completed Task 1, as of now we are in progress of completing Task 2, we are
figuring out where, and how we are going to place the water source. We have an area in mind
but we have to do surveys on the land. Once the surveys are completed, then we will be
presenting by November 23.
