Reflective Essay

Based on the commentary I got from my professor, as well as the writing center tutor, I

made some changes throughout the essay. First, I changed some of the sentences in my

introduction because some of them werent giving new information to the reader, some of them

the wording was a bit weird or repetitive, and some of them had extra words that were not

necessary. Next, I also changed my thesis a bit to include the psychoanalysis theory, as well as

let the reader know the essay is not only about Victor, but it also includes the monster created by

him. Next, I gave a definition for the term Id, and paraphrase it and used some words that are

more known to the reader. Further in the essay, I included the term Super ego to include more

sections of the psychoanalytic theory, described the term, and explain how the term relates to the

essay, which helped me tie up one of the quotes I used to the overall message of the essay.

Furthermore, in the essay, I explained why humanity fears individuals who are driven by their id.

Also, I changed the title to make it more specific to the essay, as well as to victor. I made sure

the in-text citations were correct, and double checked the information in the works cited was

accurate, and if there were some missing information, provided it. Over all, I also made sure to

eliminate some of the words that werent necessary for the sentences to make sense, or were

repetitive.
