RATIONALE

These students are not given the same opportunities as their upper middle class peers.
I want to do my part to ensure that every student, receive the education they deserve.
These resources illustrate what is considered the education gap between white and minority
students.
Properly trained teachers are integral to closing this gap.

As a teacher, I will empower students to work towards achieving their dreams, no matter how big, and
will show them that they are cared for by setting high expectations of each student.
Outcome: Analyze and explain the relationship between schooling and social inequality, including
some of the ways that schools contribute to social inequality

achievement and gives practical skills for adopting these practices
