Cover Letter

I am writing this letter to explain my achievement of the course goals in this assignment.
Writing the Literacy Experience paper was an amazing experience, and I learned innovative
ways to approach writing. I developed knowledge of how communities shape literacy. This paper
promoted me to reflect on my experience, and observe how I have developed my skills.
Moreover, I determine that writing is unique for all settings. For example, assignments in this
course arent at all like what I am used to write. Indeed, the word choice is also unique for
different papers.
Ultimately, writing this paper helped me achieve the course goals, and helped me learn
unique styles of writing, and using appropriate vocabulary. I learned that I need to develop
connecting my experience with the authors, and explain the logics with authority. For example,
in my second draft the quotes did not relate back to my experience, while the third draft is more
focused to reflect my experience through the authors opinions.
I mainly achieved the second- course goal, it helped me explore the writers identity in
relation top the politics of language. I believe that this assignment is completely depended on the
word choice of the author. It was completely up to me how I wanted to layout my strengths and
weakness. Achieving this course goal helped me understand the importance of language in
writing, and I improved my writing process from draft one to draft three.
I believe that sharing my experience of developing my literacy skills was the most
effective factor, whereas, I struggled to organize my paper accurately. I would prefer to focus
more on developing my literacy skills throughout college experience, because I believe that most
of the important skills of writing were taught in the university. This assignment would affect my
future writings positively, since I developed a fresh style of writing, and comparing opinions.
Although, I feel very confident about this writing, and the use of facts, I am considering
reviewing and conduct changes to make this paper more appealing. Otherwise, I believe that my
paper is ready for my portfolio, since it follows the prompt, provides adequate information of my
literacy experience, and is well organized in chronological order.
