Last night, the wonderful people of the great state of Alabama made their voices heard loud and

clear through the ballot box. Their decision should be respected and upheld to the highest degree
possible. Congratulations to Doug Jones on his victory in last nights special election. I wish him
the best of luck. During a period of political hostility driven by corrupt elitists and extremists on
both sides of the aisle, it is significant our nation unites for the common good of every American.
Far too many are struggling from poverty, living in fear of discrimination and violence, receiving
a stagnant income for longtime work, and overburdened by an overreaching government with a
need to expand their own control and status.
While the Mainstream Media and greedy powerful figures are pushing an out of touch agenda
that puts their interests before hard working patriots, there are significant dilemmas that are
receiving little recognition and acknowledgement. Over 20 million women and children are
suffering from a domestic violence situation, 60 million are living with some sort of disability,
30 million are struggling with an eating disorder, 6 million are living with Alzheimers, 1 in 45
children are living with Autism, nearly 100 million are diagnosed with a diabetic condition, over
15 million are living with a form of cancer, and the most vulnerable are receiving a limited
amount of benefits to life a decent lifestyle. At the same time, 27% of African Americans are
living in poverty, nearly half of Latinos are living paycheck to paycheck, the suicide rates remain
the highest among Asians and Native Americans, members of the LGBT community continue to
be treated as second class citizens, and those of faith have been scrutinized due to their beliefs.
And all within our nation.
These are catastrophic and unfortunate circumstances that not only need to be addressed and
acknowledged, but explicitly recognized. This is the moment where every single American,
regardless of their race, gender, religion, political affiliation, and sexual orientation, should come
together and take reasonable action on providing the desperate solutions to their fellow citizens
most critical issues. What we look like, who we are in love with, who we decide to vote for at the
ballot box, and what our moral beliefs are should not determine anything but for the sole fact that
we are all human beings with a mind of wisdom and a heart of compassion. Now is the time to
speak up, take action, and form a more stable coalition that will help save the precious lives of
our fellow Americans and our siblings across the globe. May God Bless every single one of us,
our nation, and the rest of the world everyday.
