students to complete along with a creative title, helpful description, and relevant SC
teaching standards. There must be one app per step.
Relevant SC Standards:
K.NS.4 Understand the relationship between number and quantity. Connect counting to
cardinality by demonstrating an understanding that: a. the last number said tells the number of
objects in the set (cardinality); b. the number of objects is the same regardless of their
arrangement or the order in which they are counted (conservation of number); c. each successive
number name refers to a quantity that is one more and each previous number name refers to a
quantity that is one less.
K.NS.5 Count a given number of objects from 1 20 and connect this sequence in a one-
to-one manner.
Instructional Objective: Students will practice writing numbers 1-10 before adding
numbers 11-20 and will be able to demonstrate their understanding of number
progression, through counting and matching objects to their value.

Step 2: Students will use Todo Math to practice counting 1-10 then they will have to
count the number of items on the screen and match them to the correct number.

Step 3: Students will practice their counting skills for numbers 1-20, by playing
Sunken Ship Fishing on adaptive mind games, recognizing the quantity of objects in a
group and matching them to their corresponding number.

Step 4: Students will regroup as a class and watch a video containing a song counting
from 1-20
