Work History :
2001-until now. Staff of local NGO KPB-SOS (Kelompok Pengamat Burung Spirit of
South Sumatra).
2001-2005. Together with KPB-SOS and The Greater Berbak Sembilang Project
(Wetland International Asia Pacific Indonesia Programme/World Bank/PHPA) assisting
Biodiversity Monitoring & Evaluation system in Sembilang National Park.
2002-2003. Member of Local Commission of South Sumatra Biodiversity Conservation
of South Sumatra province Project year 2002-2003 (Komisi Daerah Plasma Nutfah
Propinsi Sumatera Selatan, Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Derah Propinsi
Sumatera Selatan). Position: Biodiversity Specialist.
2006. Conducting some various project from International NGO:
1. Study for searching White-winged wood-duck Cairina scutulata in South Sumatra
Province, Indonesia. Funded by RSPB Small Grant. 2006.
2. Study of fish diversity in Sembilang National Park, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Funded
by Project AWARE Foundation. 2006.
3. Study of Status and Distribution of Irrawaddy Dolphin Orcaella brevirostris and Indo-
Pacific Hum-backed Dolphin Sousa chinensis in Sembilang National Park. Funded by
Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society. 2006.
2007-2008. Working for South Sumatra Forest Fire Management Project (European
Union/GTZ). Position: Assistant for Community Development Specialist.
2008. Conducting Milky stork survey & conservation in Sumatra, a project funded by
Wildlife Conservation Society Research Fellowship Programme & the Rufford Small
Grant.
2009-current. Working for Merang REDD Pilot Project (MRPP, a project of GTZ,
German Technical Cooperation). Position: Field Coordinator.
