The teacher understands and uses multiple methods of assessment to engage learners in their own

growth, to monitor learners progress, and to guide the teachers and learners decision making.

Rationale Statement:

In creating the lesson plan/assessment, I realized that there are various ways to assess the

students. Also, all students perform in different ways. Teachers are talented enough to cleverly
assess the class in multiple ways as to see where each individual child is at. Therefore, an

informative assessment helps me make recognize the students understanding of the lesson with

the materials I provided. The students are able to demonstrate their understanding through

various performances.

In connection to what I learned about teachers are that teachers are capable to spot out if the

students grasp the concept and main idea of the lesson. This type of formative assessment helps

teachers identify if there are students that didnt understand the lesson. Furthermore, students can

perform in numerous ways when teachers use the four-corner assessment. For example: If a child

has difficulty writing down their ideas on paper, they can demonstrate it through imaginative

play, such as finger puppets. In connection to the lesson plan assessment. Teachers have

numerous ways to engage all students to grow using different opportunities for them.
