First we will talk about sustainable industrial development, it has been one of the
main issues of interest for all countries and some international organizations
tries to teach that the problem of contamination and natural resource limitations
is mainly relate to global conscientiousness.

Companies have to figure out how to optimize the use of all their resources. The
crisis will be overcome by defining a long term strategy
around sustainability for all the activities in the company.

This paper talks about the factory of the future with a green PLM strategy.
Now we can define these two terms.
FoF is a network of companies that compete but also help each other when knowledge
is needed.
And GPLM could be defined as: Mission: Supply products satisfying customer needs
taking advances of company's innovation, quality and
sustainable production system considering all the lifecycle impacts.
Vision: Generate information within the organization and manage it from the
sustainable perspective of all production stages.
Objective: Share this knowledge and encourage the collaboration with clients and
supplier.

We would like to point out that special attention should be paid on green
manufacturing which is the most contaminant and is mainly
focused on four critical impact factors: social aspects, energy, environment and
economics.
Our propose: Green Product and Processes Lifecycle Management (Green PLM) framework
mainly focused on manufacturing.
The research here must be directed to help organizations become environmentally-
friendly

Our approach is that a green product should be not only an environmental friendly
product but also a product
whose maintenance should be sustainable and with minimum wastes and it could be
reused.

We have general objectives.

Defining the green PLM Framework

Outlining collaborative methodologies and tools for globalaisd market
Analyze current technologies and research on improvements for alternative
solutions.
Launching the Green Factory.

Initially we established competences for the Green Manufacturing Enterprise:

-Eco design
-Green Development (GD).
-Green (Sustainable) Manufacturing (GM).
- Sustainable Production and Logistics (SPL
- Responsible Use and Maintenance (RUM).
- Product Social Response (PSR)

we defined three stages: design and development, manufacturing and service.

After that we define the resources in each stage as we can see in the figure.
(Figure 2)

Methods: Collection of defined methodologies that help in product design from

conceptual to detailed design.
Tools: Available engineering tools, that will allow achieving sustainability
actions..
Knowledge: Integration of information and their interrelationship will allow
establishing sustaniability knowledge for all the processes.

Sustainable product lifecycle management is established by planning all the

activities that are
performed regarding the product design, its manufacture, its usability and its end-
of-life.

The importance of acquiring sustainable product lifecycle management vision is

considered a key issue for next
generation manufacturing enterprises. the proposed framework in this work develops
the key stages for a sustainable product lifecycle strategy. This strategy will
help to draw companies to a new perspective.
