QUICK START GUIDE

Connections:
First plug the power supply unit cable to the Power Supply socket; then plug the power supply unit
to the wall outlet.
Plug a RJ45 cable to the ETH socket; the other part of the cable must be connected to your Ethernet
network.
Plug on the Radio 1 and / or Radio 2 sockets cables to connect radios :
o OPC-IP2AIR5062 if you want to connect an IF-BF5062
IF base station ;
o OPC-IP2AIR5100 if you want to connect an IC-FR5100
IC or IC-FR6100
FR6100 repeater with UC-IP2AIR or
without any UC ;
o OPC-IP2AIR5100IP if you want to connect an IC-FR5100
IC or IC-FR6100
FR6100 repeater with UC-FR5000
UC ;
o Custom cable if you want to connect any other radiorad equipment.
Plug on the Phone socket the RJ12 cable and the other part of the cable to a PSTN outlet.

Initialization:
You must now set the IP address of the IP2AIR. To do so, you must:
Connect the USB cable to the USB socket on the IP2AIRs front panel; plug the other part of the
USB cable to a free USB port on your computer.
You can find the USB driver for IP2AIR on the SD card supplied with the IP2AIR in the directory
Misc/USB_drv/.
You should launch USB_cons.exe available on the SD card in the directory Misc/Terminal/ or any other
serial console (Hercules is also available on SD card).
If you are using USB_cons.exe,
USB_cons.exe you must choose
the IP2AIR to connect to in the combo box listing
the IP2AIR available (circled in blue in the picture
beside) then click on the Connect button. When
connected, you can click on the Ethernet
Configuration button (circled in green in the
picture beside) to open the popup in the middle of
the screenshot beside in which you must set se the
appropriate values and validate with the Validate
button (circled in red in the picture beside):

If you use any other serial console, you must connect to the serial COM port created by the IP2AIR
(Baud-rate:
rate: 115200; Data size: 8; Parity: none; Handshake: OFF; Mode: Free) and send the command :
eth --ip=new_ip_address --gw=gateway_ip_address --sm=subnetwork_mask

Configuration:
There are two ways to configure the IP2AIR:
The Web interface accessible from any web browser (Internet
( Explorer, Firefox,
Firefox Google Chrome) by
entering the IP address you just configured in the address bar of your browser. Once connected, you
must click on the Configuration link in the left menu and enter password (icom
( by default) to access
configuration web pages (see the installation
i manual for more details);
Use the IP2AIR Wizard (available on the SD cardcar in the directory Misc/Wizard
/Wizard/) to configure your entire
network (see wizard documentation for more detail).
 DEMARRAGE RAPIDE

Connexions:
Commencez par brancher le cble dalimentation au connecteur Power Supply , puis branchez le
bloc dalimentation une prise murale.
Branchez un cble RJ45 au connecteur ETH ; lautre extrmit de ce cble devant tre branche
votre rseau Ethernet.
Branchez aux connecteurs Radio 1 et / ou Radio 2 les cbles pour connecter les radios :
o OPC-IP2AIR5062 si vous dsirez connecter une base IF-BF5062 ;
o OPC-IP2AIR5100 si vous dsirez connecter un relais IC-FR5100 ou IC-FR6100 FR6100 avec UC-IP2AIR ou
sans aucune UC ;
o OPC-IP2AIR5100IP si vous dsirez connecter un relais IC-FR5100
IC ou IC--FR6100 avec UC-FR5000 ;
o Cble personnalis si vous dsirez connecter un autre type de radio.

hone le cble RJ12 et lautre extrmit du cble une ligne tlphonique.

Initialisation:
Vous devez maintenant paramtrer ladresse IP de lIP2AIR. Pour cela, vous devez :
Connecter le cble USB au connecteur USB sur la face avant de lIP2AIR l ; connectez lautre
extrmit du cble un port USB libre de votre ordinateur.
Vous pouvez trouver les drivers USB pour lIP2AIR sur la carte SD fournie avec lIP2AIR dans le
rpertoire Misc/USB_drv/.
Vous devez lancer le logiciel USB_cons.exe disponible sur la carte SD dans le rpertoire Misc/Terminal/
ou nimporte quel autre logiciel de console srie (Hercules est galement disponible).

Si vous utilisez USB_cons.exe,, vous devez choisir
lIP2AIR laquelle vous voulez vous connecter
dans la liste droulante des IP2AIR disponibles

Sur tout autre logiciel de console srie,
srie vous devez vous connecter au port COM cr par lIP2AIR

eth --ip=nouvelle_adresse_ip --gw=
-- adresse_ip_de_la_passerelle --sm=
sm=masque_de_sous_rseau

Configuration:
Il existe deux moyens de configurer lIP2AIR:
L'interface Web accessible depuis n'importe quel navigateur Web (Internet Explorer,
Explorer Firefox, Google Chrome...)
en entrant l'adresse IP que vous venez de configurer dans la barre d'adresse.
d'adresse Une fois connect, vous
devez cliquer sur le lien Configuration dans le menu de gauche et entrez le mot de passe (icom par
dfaut) pour accder aux pages de configuration (voir la notice d'installation pour plus de dtails);
