CCTV Installation, Management and Maintenance Policy

1. For New CCTV requirements plants heads will send written request on
email with location map to Corp. Security Head with cc to MD, Director
Business Excellence Mr Karan Chhabra& Corporate Head IT for approval,
Required BOM will be verified by plant IT engineer responsible for CCTV.
2. After approval by the Security Heads approval of MD/Director will be
obtained and Corp Head IT asked to procure the same. IT will provide CCTV
Cameras and related material to plants.
3. Installation of new cameras will be IT Engineers responsibility. He will get it
done with the help of plant maintenance team, if he faces any issue / delay
he will report to plant head. In case required help is not given by the plant
head he will immediately send a email to Corp Head IT with CC to GM
Security and safety. They will raise the level to resolve the issues.
4. IT engineer at plant will maintain some low cost and necessary spares at his
end to maintain uptime.
5. IT Team has appointed Mr. Deepak Swami as CCTV coordinator at corp, all
the requirements will be send to him and he will be responsible for material
availability, CCTV inventory and all related repairs.
6. CCTV Planning, new installation, CCTV related escalation will be handled by
Mr. Ravinder Singh from IT side and Corp IT Security Officer Mr. Krishan
Jaiswal.
7. cctv@microturnersmail.com will be group for CCTV related requirements,
issues and communication. IT Head, CCTV Coordinator, Corp Security SO,
Corp Security Head will be part of this email group. Plants will communicate
on this email id group including others in loop.
8. CCTV Coordinator will maintain CCTVs and related approved MSL in MIM
for fast restoration of CCTV cameras.
9. CCTV coordinator will develop a vendor for repair of CCTV material at single
location and keep track of faulty material.
10.CCTV uptime will be plant IT engineers responsibility with the help of local
maintenance team and Corp CCTV Coordinator (for availability of material).
11.Plant Head and VP will be overall responsible to ensure that all CCTV
cameras in plant are functional, IT engineer is directly working under plant
head and he will be provided all assistance by him.
12.Recording checking, camera location check and local surveillance will be
local security officers responsibility, he will report to corp. security officer
for reported issues.
13.IT head and Corp. Security head, Corp CCTV coordinator will do a review
meeting every Saturday and update management, if needed VC will be
done with plant IT engineer, Plant Security Officer, Plant Head and
Maintenance Head.
