Dear Mr. Cobs:

Enclosed please find a copy of the business plan for Miami Diamonds, which is a small jewelry
store retailer located in Florida. The aim of the store is to give the guest the proper jewel they
are looking for, and offer them a great customer service that will make connections throughout
the community with their work. We believe the direct contact with jewelers will generate a
unique experience that will continually create revenue.

To successfully launch my retail outfit, I plan to put up $20,000 of my own capital. We would
also require additional financing of $5,000. Included in my financial statements, you will find
that I plan to pay off the loan within seven years.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for additional information. I look
forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Sarayt Martinez

are looking for a perfect gift. Manufacturing Jewelry is the greatest way to show your creativity besides
having something nice to wear that would describe how you are, including your mood. If you dont like
what you see in other jewelry stores, then Miami Beach Diamond is the perfect place for you, where you
can custom your own jewel. The first service provided here will also help you to find the right jewel.
After this particular platform of selling jewelry this is also considered artwork.

The demographic target for this business is couples, young men who are looking, anybody who is looking
for a gift. It is an attraction for many young ladies also. The store is opened to anyone who is interested in
purchasing a jewel.

The Miami Beach Diamond business designs and manufactures of unique titanium jewelry. This business
makes many different designs which are uniquely awesome in the form of earnings, pins, and pendants.
These entire products are designed and manufactured by Sarayt Martinez.

Miami Beach Diamond is a sole proprietorship and although I am the owner of the business there are
other managers who help maintain the different branches, programs and activities of the company. All
employees will be taken in consideration to make any type of decision.

For a short term goal we consider creating a website and an online store for Miami Beach Diamonds, until
then, we will keep managing the main store, once the market has been established and on right track the
expansion of our business will begin, with a steady and established income more effort will be put toward
attracting community. Also in the website after a certain amount of time the membership with our
company will be an income which will grow and hopefully we can expand at other areas and countries
around the world.

VI. History and background

MIAMI Beach Diamonds is the largest jewelry retailer in Miami. This company operates only 2

stores in the area. The companys annual sale is $5 billion derive of the retailers of the other

jewelry departments. This company was created because, the owner has a passion for diamonds

and always wanted express romance and appreciation through bridal jewelry the goal was to

create the best sales for engagement rings, so it was decided to open up a business, also because

it is not common around Miami Beach to have a jewelry store, but weddings are always

happening around.

VII. Goals and objectives

The first goal is a short term goal for our company and it is to build three more stores around

Miami, also create a website for online shopping this will need to be run smoothly and it will

need to be handled with patients, once our company gains publicity either through social media

or even television and other locals, our medium goal whenever we have gained income within in

2-3 years and we will be able to grow and expand. We dont want this company to just be near

the beaches. We want to expand into urban and suburb areas also. A medium goal to meet is to

be able to expand, to the US and Canada. And a long term which is within 4-5 years which will

be enough time to gain more income and have major annual sales, this will allow us to create a

partnership with Signet who own and operates other brands.

VIII. Products and service

Miami Beach Diamonds main objective is to offer the best customer service in the area, the

company wants to be known for their great service, offers and holiday sales. Other services

would be shown throughout campaigns. ? Whats unique about our company is that it has a

diamond signature also we offers free polishing for life, and we help build your credit with other

sales program, so that customers will not have to be afraid they cant pay/buy their product. We

also offer the best customer service and a life year guarantee. Land was herded from

grandparents a startup inventory is $20,000.000 Equipment): modern customized glasses

equipment $300-500Materials: polishing and finishing, bench tools, soldering and torches,

forming engraving tools other employees: 4 employees. Each time spring season comes, we

receive new jewelry.

9

IX. Form of Ownership

Miami Beach Diamond will be functioning as a sole proprietorship, which means that I am going

to ultimately be responsible for any problems that occur in the business. If any issues occur they

will be also discussed with other two managers. I will also be involved in anything that will have

to do with employees, management and customer service. This business as a sole proprietorship I

will want to have equality in all the possible ways I will help and work as hard as the rest of the

employees that conform this business. We will start with basic equipment like the modern glass

furniture and 4 employees until the business builds up.

10

X. Management and staffing

In Miami Beach Diamond our Store Management team includes supervising and training

employees, recruiting new staff, solving customer complaints, budgeting, maintaining

inventories, updating records, and implementing sales and marketing campaigns. Qualifications

like leadership, customer service orientation. Also background and education history of the

future employee will be considered this is necessary for the financial aspect of managerial

second job. Theres also going to be seasons of hiring because there will be some seasons that

really little amount of people are going to walk into the store, which means we dont need much

employees, like for winter we tend to do more sales so we can attract customers in. Products may

only be sold in certain areas and certain products in certain seasons.

11

XI. Marketing
The main demographic target for this business is going to be more females than males and young

adults, couples and families. These individuals are the most interested in our product and mainly

coupes whenever they are engaged. Anybody that will visit the store will take nearly the same

experience but many will vary and will depend on the type of jewel they are looking for, our

customer service is great with any type of situation. ? The industry trends would be the brands

and market sizes we have and also a weakness could be when we sale them (what time of the

year). And our strength is that our store is always opened. The trade associations and

publications that are attached to the industry are the brand products and distribution. The main

affection a jewelry business has is the advertising regulations; there are some rules we have to

follow, additional truth-in advertising. The U.S. retail jewelry industry remains highly

fragmented, with an overwhelming number of small merchants operating firms whose annual

sales are under $2.5 million annually.
