4.1 Full collectiveselectivecontrol

The elevatoris equippedat bottom floor and top floor separatelyan Up-buttonand a Dn-button
both of which are mountednecessarilyfor each floor. Car operatingpanel containsinstruction
buttonswith nunber correspondingto eachlanding.Once any call button is pressedin the car or
hall, the signal is registered. The mnning directionis determinedby the systemdependingon the
first signalregistered.Without anypallsefor reversedirection, the elevatormns and stopsone by
one at eachdemandedfloor in samedirection. It's automaticto decelerate, leveling and open the
door during landing at floor. After having closed the door automaticallyor manually by push
button, the eievatorrestartsmnning until the end floor in this direction. For any other signals, the
systemwill re-determinethe mnning direction.Or, the.carwill stop at latestlandingfloor if there's
no more calls existed(Under Auto home return, the elevatorwill return to the main floor after
delay.).

4.2 Goods Lift Function(XPMDriverOperation)

The XPM tunction cornbinesmanual operationand goodslift feature. That is, the lift opensand
holds car door motion after arriving and leveling at certainfloor. Door function of auto-closingis
unavailable.Pressingclose-buttonand hold the motion until the car doorsare closed, the lift rvill

will closethe door to restartrunning after driver haspressedClose-button.

4.4 Manneddrivewith priority

When in normally unmanneddriving, once mnning direction is taken, the elevatoronly change
over into anotherdirection after the last call in this direction is carried out. In manned drive
condition, the attendantis allowedto changethe directionaccordingto the specialsituationin the
car by pressingup/downbutton during operation.

4.5 Fire emergencyreturn

In auto-running operation, when Fire-button is activated, the car immediately retums to preset
landing at highest speed to evacuatethe passenger, which means to park and leveling at nearest
floor. For any situation that the car is not in preset landing zone, without opening door after
leveling at certain floor, it runs directly to the evacuation floor at which the car door opens and
holds.

4.6 Inspectionoperation
Any up/downcall signal is unacceptable to registerduring inspectionperiod.Only by holding up
or down button in the car, the car can travel at slow speedin convenienceof maintenance.
PressUp- or Dn-key,in the casethe door is not closedyet, the systemgives cofirmandsto close
the door by force. After the door is closed, the lift can startthe operationagain.

switches4KW and 3KW shouldbe additionallyequipped.)As a sample,if the normal deceleration
doesn'tfunction in well when elevatorruns down, the 1KW activatesagainstthe rapid descending
of car and control system forces the elevatorto slow-down and leveling. In the case the car
continuesdescendingover the leveling point of bottom floor, the 5KW takesactionduring which
the Down-relay is switched off and the brake is releasedin order to stop the running lift (Up
motion is still available, but down motion is impossible.).The 7KW is off in case of further
descendingbeyondthe leveling area. Also, main circuit and control circuit completelypower off.
As a result, the car immediately stops descending. That meansthe lift is out of serviceunless

5.3.3 The metal cover of landing floor box must be grounded to prevent the unit from

practicableto leave the spacefor free rather than connectto high-volt circuits to reduce
and avoid interference.
5. 3. 6 According to the high interferencefrom VF door motor, the gounding of the car (door

7.4 Motor self-learning(YASKAWAGT
In order to match the motor, for best ride comfort, the inverter shall have the characteristic
parameters,e.g.non-loadingcurrentand ratedrotationdifferentialetc.

Notice: if theseparametersdo not exist beforethe operation,it is possibleto obtaindatavia motor

self-learning(Caution:Not with shaft self-learning.).So the inverter can get the parametersby
self-learning.For the detailed operation on inverter programming, ref'er to the operational
descriptionof inverter in this chapter.

Motor self-learningproceededas followings:

(1) Lift the car by tackle and removethe steelwire ropesfrom tractionsheave, which completely
releasethe motor from loading.Confirm that anyrisk can exist wheneverthe motor rotates.
(2) Confirm that rotationencoderis installedvery well.
(3) Beforeself-leaming,A1-02:02 mustbe setto A1-02:03 (from openloop to closeloop).
(4) Confirm the rotation direction of rotation encoder. When it's in slow drive mode and close
loop status,in case of reversedirection of PQ the rotating speedwill be very slow and
probably accompaniedwith vibration. When rotation direction is in reverse,changeF1-05
(Phasesequenceof rotationencoder)by meansof program.
(5) Releasethe brake.
HY UND AI ADJUSTMENT VIANUAL

(6) Enter into self-learningmenu AIiTO-RUNING and input motor data (value on the motor's

displayed on the screen, connect KM by manned operation and press RIIN-key of
programmingdevice, the inverter automaticallyentersinto self-learningstatus.At this time,
the motor will automaticallynrn for a certain while. After the inverter displays 'TUNE
SUCCESSFUL', the seif-leamingis finishedand the motor stopsmnning in seconds.
(7) The seif-leaming might do not succeedand program device might display the wrong

7.5 Door operatorrunningtest

For the variety of door machines,it's impossibleto describethem oneby one.

It is strictly that, during the adjustment, the wiring of car board and door operatorshould accordto
electric diagrams.Besides, needto checkthe inputs of limit switches(Front door: P19, P20; Rear
door: P25,P26) corespondentlyafter door closedand opened. The connectionof this part should
be rightly doneto avoidany mis-connection.

In the event the door machineis not activated, following points are for your attention:
1. Securethe logic setting of the inputs (door open/closed).(door machinein the middle, NO
when P19 andP20 OFF,NC when P 19 and P20 ON)
2. Securethe settingof door affangement(front/reardoor) correctly.
3. When lift is under inspection,it is unavailableto activatedoor open/closethat could be
carriedout via Up/Dn-key(see7.6).
HYUNDAI ADJUS'TMENTIV1ANUAL

7.6 ExpressGommissioning
Following conditionsmustbe confirmedbefor expressnrnning:
1. Run the lift at inspectionspeed to securethe correct floor indication. If the display is

2. Look on pre-opendoor controllerto check the correctactivationsequenceof uppel, middle

3. Controlthe inspectionswitchwith door machine. In casethe door machineis not adjusted, the

5. Securethe priority gradeof inspection(car-top) car ) machineroom). In caseof uncorrect

grade, check the wiring of interlock circuit of inspection switches in accordanceto the
drawing.

After finished the self-learning,in casethe conditioneshereinbeforeare met, expressrunning is

allowed. To guaranteethe securiry the running shall be proceededat middle floors (singularfloors
suitably).Following the routine,which is BASIC MEl\tl + A MONITORING -+ 1 CALLS +
I MANUAL NPUT, press call signal to observeexpressdriving situation. The most important
parametersare C1-02 and d1-04.When lift climb- runs in a long time beforedecelerationentering
into door zone:,theparameterof Cl-02 shouldbe increased. In reverse, beforelift entersinto door
zone at decelerationspeed, there's no climbing but even running over the leveling point, the
parameterof C1-02 shouldbe decreased.Adjusting the parametersof d1-07 and d1-08 has the
sameeffect.However,d1-07is for multiple floors and d1-07is for singlefloor. d1-04is set for the
adjustmentof leveling accuracythat can be decreasedin caseof car running over the leveling
point andbe increasedin caseof inaccurateleveiing. The parameterof C5-01and C5-02,provided
for adjustingthe ride comfort during traveling, is slightly variablefor different motors.
