Buffer & Pedestal

Caution:
1. Buffer must be fixed to a position in accordance with the plan view of shaft layout drawing.
2. The deviation between the center of support beam and buffer should be less than 2cm.
3. The distance between support beam and buffer is 150mm.
4. The pedestal should be made of concrete after the elevator is installed.

Guide Rail

Caution:
1. There must be at least 2 support brackets for every guide rail and the distance between 2 brackets
should less than 1500mm;
2. Guide shoes should not derail at anytime;
3. The deviation between guide rail and its datum line in every 5 meters should be less than 2mm;
4. Guide rails should be fixed to support brackets with pressure plates, not welding or bolts and
nuts.

Caution:
1. The cylinder post should be fixed to position as marked in the shaft layout drawing;

Caution:
1. Cylinder should be firmly fixed;
2. There must be at least 2 holding hoops for every cylinder;
3. Vertical deviation of cylinders position should be less than 0.5/1000mm;
4. The piston should be 100mm out of cylinder when the car lands on the ground floor.

Caution
1. Hydraulic hose must be carefully cleaned up before installation, making sure that there is not dust
or other substance in the hose;
2. Please make the hose a little bit slack during the installation, (3~4% margin) in order to avoid
being tense because of natural expansion and shirking;
3. Please avoid twisting the hose during and after installation; meanwhile, connection joint, bends
should be in the same plane surface.
4. If the hose needs to be bent during the installation, then the bending radius should be larger than
those shown in the table below.

5. The two ends of hydraulic hose that are connected to the joints should not be bent for at least
twice the internal radius of the hose.
6. Please ensure that oil hose will not be damaged by any sharp angles during and after installation;
7. The length of the hose should be based on the distance between the machine-room and the
cylinder. Usually, only one hose is supposed to transport the oil between oil tank and cylinder.

Shackle & Taper sleeve

Caution:
Step1: Bundle the steel rope end with a 0.6mm lead wire and then put it through the taper sleeve.
Step2: Bind the steel rope around the wedge and then put the in the taper sleeve again and fix it.
Step3: Cramp the rope to the holders; U shaped bolts should be fixed to the end of the rope every
150mm; Screw the bolts tight without damaging steel rope.
