toobigevenatmosphericcondition.Cansomeonerecommendadesignprocedure/information?Ihave5referencePVbooks
byMegyesy,bednar,Young,etcbutdoesnotdiscusseddesignproceduresonthistopic

Inparticular,Iamunsurehowtoconsidertheinteractionofbendingstress,shearstress,allowabledeflections.I'minthe
Philippines,somyreferencesarelimited.Ialsosurfedtheinternetbutnothingsofar.

Don'tovercomplicateit.Treatastripofplateasafixedfixedbeambetweenstiffenerstofigurethespacingof
stiffeners.Thentransferthatloadtothestiffenersanddesignthemaspinnedendbeams.Youcouldfiguresomewidthofthe
endplateaspartofthestiffeneraswell.Attheendofthebeam,checkbendingintheplateitselftoseeifyouneedtoattach
thebeamendtotheshell,orcanjustenditontheplate.Besurethebeamcompressionflangesareadequatelydesignedfor
thedegreeofsupporttheyhave.

IbelieveUL142hassomeguidelinesonstiffeners,butIdon'trecallthedetailsandit'sanexpensivestandard,too.

Azbel&Cheremisinoff's"Chemical&ProcessEquipmentDesign,VesselDesign&Selection"hasasimplifiedmethodinchapter
