MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 37
Further to Prociamation Nos. 50 (s. 2016) and 269 (s. 2017) issued by the
25 Decernber 2017 (Christmas Day) 01 January 2016 (New
‘Year's Day) 8 Reguiar Holideys, and in order to give the employees of the govemment
to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones, work in
government government
units, and other agencies and inetrumentalities, is hereby suspended on 26 December

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and
health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the
performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the
necessary services.
The suspension of work in other branches of govemment and in independent
commissions or bodies, as wall as in private companies and offices on the said dates,
is left to the sound discretion of their respective heads/management.
